I am scared. I have believed in the lord as a child. Over the years I "backslid" multipe times, recommited to christ, committed bad sins. I want God, I want Jesus. The only thing that matters.
My friend, as Christians we always sin! Is that okay? No! But Gods love and grace is enough. Remember we are not saved by good works or how good we did. We put our faith in the CROSS and what Christ did for us. You are forgiven, you are loved, and God is with you. Strive to do your best in Gods will thru the Holy Spirit, and remember when you fall a righteous man! A person who believes in Christ! Rises up again to God be the glory!

Is apostasy blaspheming the holy sprit? If they were the same thing they probably wouldn’t be called two different things! But what do I know not much when it came to the bible but
Great question Jen! Yes, it is the same. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is essentially discrediting the truth of Christ that His Spirit confirms within a regenerate (born again) believer. Apostasy is a "turning away from" the truth that has been given to a person. Look up the Parable of the Sower. Jesus explains how people ultimately respond to the truth of Christ. Their ultimate apostasy might not be where they end up, but the Parable gives clear definition as to how many people will ultimately respond to the truth. Hope this helps you.
@@engagethebroken7698 If that is indeed true, Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable. it is one of the very few unforgivable sins. In fact it might be the only one.

There is a serious and severe danger towards Christianity ✝️ and that is apostasy. Meaning if you’re a a sincere practicing Christian and you accept Jesus Christ as the savior but then you decide to forsake your Christian faith and do something that is opposed to Christianity. And as Christians, we’re all supposed to be pro life and say no to abortion rights. But sadly, some Christians say that abortion rights is acceptable. And that’s the danger of apostasy. If you’re a sincere practicing Christian and you say that abortion rights is acceptable, then you’re not a true Christian. You possibly can be in league with forces of Satan.
Not a foolish question. Yes, there absolutely is a way back. The person who has been in apostasy simply repents for their sin to Christ, and turns away from the false teaching they are either learning, or conducting themselves, and begins to learn from a solid biblical teacher.
Yeah Jen, beware of all these false places that call themselves churches and all the nicey nice people who come across as good but they're just flatterers. Apostasy means to turn away from truth, any truth really, because if this alone was apostasy it would be so rare that it wouldn't be a concern. Apostasy is so manifold that they use very vague terms to describe it as if its no threat. A woman preaching is apostate for example, all false doctrines equates to apostasy not jus that one rare event they speak of
No that wasn't a foolish question at all because how else would you know if you don't ask questions 🤔 and he is right you can turn away from apostasy but just like any other sins you just have to repent to God and ask for forgiveness and you will be set free and that's a great thing and you will be forgiven.
Severe apostasy? No, it’s impossible. The author of hebrews talks about this. Of course, we all sin after being saved, but real christians will never depart from the faith. There will always be even the smallest conviction of sin, even if this christian immerses himself in sin, there is always hope. An apostaste shows no remorse. No sadness after sinning, but only after the consequences of the sin.
@vitorherold hey I lost faith in christ slowly overtime, mostly because I thought their were lack of evidence and also when I found out about other religions and evolution, it kinda made me see things differently in the world and I kinda slowly started doubting God's existence, I use go always get angry with him more often when I got sad and when I was in a argument, I use to always say he wasn't real when I was angry or sad. But throughout all that I wanted to believe in him but I really couldn't get myself to, I regret everything and I wanted to know if this is blasphemy or apostasy, pls help
When they decide in their minds. To reject wisdom, if they knew it was God they're talking about, Jesus, they would've NEVER chose people over him. I think this is just a heads up.
Be warned - the second coming is here. God’s judgement is upon us, the second coming is real and it’s here. God has had enough of a world saturated in sin and idolatry. All of todays religions are false, teaching polluted doctrine to make you feel good and completely missing the point - that God is the religion - and to only worship him and his Son Jesus Christ (Yeshua) and only directly from the bible, to do anything other is to risk eternal damnation. True religion comes from the church within your heart, exposing your heart to God and Jesus (Yeshua), repenting your sins through Jesus then letting God and Jesus repair you and make you new, that is true religion. All creation is the temple of God and the Lamb (Jesus), and their temple has been desecrated by the sin of man. Jesuses return is for God's glory, but God's glory is for all. Jesus is coming back a King, but he will serve like a Lamb, with humility and unconditional love. Go to Revelation in the Bible, that is where we are today, make your choice - Heven or Hell - time is almost up.
So dumb. The apostacy is very clearly what happened to the Christian church after the last disciple died and Rome adopted Christianity as its state religion. Everything that came after that was very clearly The prophesied apostasy.
No, you are wrong. The prophesied apostasy culminates in the revelation of the man of sin, the lawless one, or the beast. This man has to necessarily be killed by Christ himself in his visible second coming. Paul states (while talking about the man of lawlessness and the apostasy) : “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the REBELLION comes FIRST, AND the MAN of lawlessness is REVEALED, the son of destruction,” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 […] “And then the lawless one will be revealed, WHOM the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his COMING.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8 It’s not a system, it’s a MAN. As Daniel said about the horn that had eyes and mouth of a MAN. And as John sees, with a number, a number of a MAN. If we don’t know who this MAN is, then no, the apostasy didn’t happen yet. The apostasy will reveal him. And even IF it was the pope… which one? Which pope was killed by christ in his coming? None, therefore, you are flat wrong.
