Rarran, RegisKillbin, Zeddy, trump, thijs, kripp and other hearthstone youtubers all play different hs gamemodes. Duels, Battlegrounds, Standard, Arena and Wild are in the game that can new cards from new expansions to climb and win HS games.
Hearthstone is a card game based on WOW, it is also a digital card game.

I saw the 6 zero mana minions on screen and was trying to figure out which one was missing. I didn't realize you showed all but the priest one to Trump.
Yeah, that wasn't very clear. I feel like the fun of this is often guessting along with the contestant, so it's a bit bizarre suddenly having the knowledge.
You can hear Trump saying the cards, so him not including the priest one made in clear (and Rarran said 5 out of 6)... however it is true that we should get the possibility to guess too... maybe it was just a mistake
Actually Trump not including the wisp could atleast make you guess what of the two cards it is... I don't know

What about Wax Elemental? That would complete the tribes, but it's not a 1/1 and I'm not familiar with what is in classic nowadays.

His first season run with basic cards is legendary
One thing Rarran should understand, is that creating a question, that Trump cannot answer isn’t a win.
If the objective is about creating a good viewing experience, the question can be versatile and the contestant can surprise the audience with his extensive game knowledge.
The win for Rarran should be coming up with good questions.
Bold text is not really an exciting error.
Here are some suggestions:
1)A category from who will be a millionaire with 4 questions.
Pick the attacking sound for card x with 4 similar options.
2)Build a zombeast category, but with all minion.
You show a minion and the contestants have two combine 2x 5 mana or lower minion to create it.
Cardtext, mana and keywords are combined.
3)You have X seconds to find lethal from this screenshot.
4) Guess how surprising card interactions work. Can be surprising from people testing.
5) How many cards of a certain keyword is in an expansion.
A Zombeast one would be super cool! Actually a creative idea.
Number 4 is my favorite out of these! Surprising interactions can be super fun!
I like these ideas but L take, it was funny and surprising to see that Un’goro is supposed to be hold
I don't agree with the first part, but the suggestions are great, especially 2, 3 and 4. Rarran should really take a look at this comment
I mean to be fair, the bolded word thing has been done alot before so it's not new in DYKH? And secondly its was pretty obvious anyway
12:23 Every card that mentions a specific expansion has the expansion name in bold. For example a lot of the Transfer Student forms mention specific expansions, like the Karazhan one says ”Add a random *Karazhan* Portal spell to your hand.” and the ”Karazhan” is bolded.

First thing I noticed with the BoneGuard Commander was the the second "s" in Corpses wasn't bolded. lol
I really like these types of videos, though I wish that "this text should have been bolded" was something that was removed from telling if a card is fake.
I disagree. Bolded keywords isn't a random feature of cards, it's part of the mechanics of the game and they're super noticeable if they're not there. Not to mention there are special cases of bolded words that make certain cards unique and therefore memorable if they weren't bolded anymore.

@@themostdiabolicalhater5986 there's that choose twice card, krag with his charrrrrrge and the mega windfury voltron guy. I personally think bolded keywords are fine to test on because there are established rules on their use - experienced players are somewhat expected to understand them.
@@cyburger7257it’s not a “test” though, it’s supposed to be fun. Sure if Trump was trying to get a bachelors in hearthstone it would be a valid ask, but that’s not the goal. Nobody cares whether or not the word Un’Goro in Elise’s text is supposed to be bold. It is functionally the same.

It’s so good that these have more segments than just the real/fake card guessing now. Honestly that’s probably one of the weakest parts, especially with the insistence on including random templating stuff.
tbh i personally think the profile page question was a bit difficult. granted i am a casual player now but i had no clue this existed till the video. maybe something interesting would be to have the contestants try and guess a certain stat (how many arena wins or battleground wins etc.) and see how close to their real number. great video as always though rarran keep it up

Went to the Hearthstone wiki to check stuff as I went along. Turns out all the cards you picked or mentioned like Tour Guide became trending on the site. Literally a trendsetter Rarran.
boneguard commander's is also different because the s in 'Corpses' isn't bold on the fake, while it is on the official.
Technically speaking, the last adventure was Book of mercenaries.

I have seen than transfer student from scholomancy can also have its expansions bolded (if I remeber correctly nathria journey from this year habe those definitely) so you can have few questions more for the next quiz :)

EDIT: 12:20 I've actually beaten lich king boss today and he has 1 mana 2/3 minion that gives a player knights of the frozen throne card and it's bolded too
Knights of Frozen Throne wasn't an adventure, it was "missions" which are different
Wasnt Ashes of Outland the last adventure? It came out after Galakrond's.

I think I looked at the profile menu a grand total of 3-5 times.
I couldn’t tell you for the life of me what’s on it.
I didn’t even know we could see our total of Ranked Wins !
I just looked at my heroes to figure out how close I was to 5K wins.
Usually it’s just Challenges,Quests and Rewards track.
The community cried so much for overall stats that HS didn't give. They did it and nobody cared. Typical.

Another good one, I think the last section was a little hard, so I think you should change it a little. Make it like like guessing the card, with minor changes to the Menu, background, options etc. and then make them find the mistakes, let's say 4 (because when you switch text it's already 2)... but you could choose anything from hero select to title screen for flexibility
12:23 didnt the deathknight adventure have a 1 mana 2/3 with "*Deathrattle:* Give your opponent a *Knights of The Frozen Throne* card."
I did look at this last menu. I would've gotten 1,2,3,4 and 8, but I would not remember the order of other modes, since I didn't play them a lot. Would've been perfect on cards though.
I thought the last adventure was ashes of outland with the Illidan story line

He's not an avid Hearthstone player. The research and scriptwriting for those videos were done by someone else

Maybe instead of the last one, try something along the lines of
- the list of menu items from top to bottom
- the class order on the class selection screen
Same idea as the cards, basically something like, you see this all the time, but do you actually remember the exact detail.

I’d consider them dungeon runs, since adventures like Naxx are pre-determined fights for specific cards instead of random encounters and no direct card unlocks

Great video as alwas, but i suggest you would edit all the cards even if they are correct. The reason being you can tell the card is edited and not original, an example would be at 12:25 where you show the cards side by side. You can tell how smooth the numbers and the text is on the original card compared to the fake one. Also i've seen in other videos the class colors on the edited cards are a totally different shade than the original. Seen it most in the Warlock purple and Hunter green, could imediatly tell they have been edited.

I feel like newer players should better know game menus if they were recently changed, because for old players there no real reason to go check them out
