Just wondering why your guy didn't bother sanding/sealing/priming from the start. Sounds like the logical thing to do. Not to mention, you could have painted the whole car for well under $3,000. Mine was totalled on the passenger side from the rear quarter to the front door. I replaced the doors and rear quarter with good parts from the junkyard, bought a stud welder, all the paint, primer, and filler, new wheels and tires, front splitter, window tint, front bumper retainers, fabbed rear splitter, universal fender flares, and a set of coilovers for less than $2,000. Did all the work in my driveway. But I guess when you feel the need to pay someone to do all the work(even though they screwed up costing you more money) yet you get to take all the credit because you own the car, by all means go for it.
Bruh did u not listen to anything I said😂 I did everything myself except paint. The kit came with a shit gel coat and primer so my painter actually had to fix up some fiberglass patches and also there were some cracks he fixed. Not to mention my paint is not anywhere close to 3000$ I’m in California and just for a can of my paint it’s 400$. Also he didn’t screw me on money at all actually lol same price. The primer on the kit was cheap ass primer and was creating air pockets in the paint. Sorry you gotta do all the work in ur driveway cause u can’t afford someone else to do it. Why would I paint it myself when I literally did my wide body kit at my old apartments
Gorgeous. I have the same widebody on the way ready to be strapped to a ludicrous build. Love what you d done to yours. Cheers!
