Perfect video for this repair. I will replace with cheap china for 1/5 the cost to see if it helps with vibration. I will gladly pay for oem if this helps but doesn’t last. Thank you for sharing!
Great video, very straightforward repair. I've never replaced it before i thought it was load bearing and you would've needed to support it from below. Quick question: for the replacement torque strut mount did you buy OE or is this kind of part just fine to buy aftermarket and it will resist vibrations just as well compared to dealer part?
When it comes to replacing parts, OE would be the best way to go so that you know you are getting the identical fit and performance, however, you do pay a little more than getting aftermarket parts that have specs similar to OEM quality. Specifically for the strut mount, comparing to the dealer's part, the Duralast used to replace the original absorbs the vibrations pretty well and I feel it works just as well as the original.
Thanks for telling me this is an easy fix.
This is great I will do the same
Great, simple fast. this is the advantage of the camry car for the upper engine mounting that is easy to reach.
Simple maintenance like this will keep the car running forever.
