- Huge crowds descended on Union Square Park on Friday over an appearance by a popular internet streamer. Thousands of people inundated the area, creating chaos and clogging the streets. If Kai Cenat advertised that he was going to be giving away Father's Day cards, the group would have been less than 10 and he would not have needed a permit and appropriate security. He had the RESPONSIBILITY to know or anticipate the numbers of people, and the types of people, who would show up; he has the capability to pull the DEMOGRAPHICS from his channel statistics.
You have to have responsiblity for making them gather in the first place. This is not blaming one person for the fault of others. He played a part in this, and there were 65 arrests. He didn't have a permit to do any of this stuff. He cost the city lots of money for no reason. He is surely at blame.
