using a tape measure? Doesn’t believe in laser equipment, are you serious? Nowadays, architect use 3D render machine to measure the space, tape measure is in Stone Age............ I hope you can adapt to the new updated technology.
I used to work in Oil Refinery plant design and we sometimes used Lidar scan information and it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. A knowledgable person still has to interpret the measurements and round to what the designer intended. Waste of time if you ask me.
