Georgia Late Summer Inshore Fishing

Me and Paul had a pretty good day catching some reds and a good trout. We fished Cumberland Island and launched from Saint Mary's. We used float rigs with live shrimp we bought downtown at Knucklehead's. It was a beautiful day and has statred cooling off just a touch. #georgiafishing, #georgiacoast, #georgiainshore,

Chris how do you like your Bulls Bay boat. Also Paul earlier had a boat with a t top, he now has the Sea Pro and no ttop. Do the ttop restrict your fishing.

I love it and it was a good price. I do not like the tops because it is hard to cast and fish with them.

I just found you guys on YT! I fish right up the road around Bryan county, retired as well. Couple quick questions. What is the brand of float Chris is fishing with? What weight does it support? And why do you use the bait box for shrimp as opposed to boat live well? I use both at different times, got tired of the cheap air pumps so made me an ammo box bubbler. Works really great! I love deep water floating for trout and order my floats from Oregon, as they support 1 to 2ozs weights. Most times 1 oz is plenty but they are pricey! Thanks

I get Beau Mac floats and they come in variety of sizes so I have 2 0z for 2 oz weights all the way down to 1/2 oz. I like the portability of the bait box over the live well. Glad you found the channel!

I too use live well and box, but think that in the future as it cools I will use the bait box only with the heavy duty bubbler! Live well is loud, and not really user friendly! Thanks again.
