Turin is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. first capital of Italy and home of the Savoy family. Elegant, stately, rich in art and wrapped in a fascinating aura of magic. congratulations for the tour but you forgot, for the sake of completeness, to illustrate Barriera di Milano to the world. 😜
That is true. I've visited the south of Italy and the cities (for me) were too little. Also the culture is different. if you go in Italy You'll not see a lot of Italian flags. Love from Turin
Really enjoyed this walking tour. Brought me back to 2015 when we went to Turin to see the shroud on display. Friendly people and a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed your other tours of London, Krakow, Rome and Madrid. 👍
Hi there, it's great to find there is a community of fellow walkers, good to have found you. We can learn so much about the world by virtually walking together. Thank you. I really enjoyed walking with you. I've subscribed and I look forward to seeing more.
Thank you for bringing me back the beautiful memories of my stay in Torino in settembre 2018.I loved this city with all my heart! Vorrei visitarla di nuovo in 2020! I'm from Uruguay
Italian here living in the North EU. Personal point of view about the city. It is without a shadow of doubt a charming city but what is lacking increadibly is the amount of vegetation. In some part it looks so auwful to me. A city with lots of trees are much better. Definitely more expencive to maintain but a boost for the city.
Actually, Turin is one of the most "green" cities in Italy. The video focused on the historic centre, where streets are tight. If you go to the new neighborhoods (built after the 1860s), they have huge treed boulevards and big parks, like the Parco del Valentino (our "Central Park"). Plus, the city is surrounded by mountains on one side, and by bushy hills on the other. Of course, there are also modern areas where trees are scarse, like in Barriera di Milano and Lingotto. But overall, Turin has plenty of green areas. For sure more than other Northern Italian cities, like Milan
@@francescogiovannizollo2989 you said right, the greenest in Italy and according to me, being the greenest city in a country where urban planning in the cities is incredibly backwards compared to northen EU, it doesnt touch me at all. Just to let you know, i used to live in a city in the North EU n it is incredible the amount of green spaces, vegetation and trees present all over the city. Something that will never be accomplished in our life time in the majority of the Italian cities.
Looks much cleaner than Rome and Naples. Not as much trash on the floor, though there is still graffiti in almost every block. The buildings look much better preserved too. No worn out paint or stains from soot, or broken pieces of brick.
SubiyaCryolite yes unfortunately it is a big problem in Italy, for example I’m from Rome and there are a lot of areas where you can barely see the wall’s colour because of the graffiti.
Looks good, not exciting, but clean and square streets, seems quiet this Day ! The squares are beautyfull, espescialy the one with the Palace in the beginning!
even if I'm a bit late I'll explain you why the city is quiet: Turin is the capital city of Piedmont, in the north west Italy. It is common use here in Turin to go to Sardinia or Liguria in the summer and to the Alps in the winter. In the summer tho, cities are always empty, and honestly they are boring, but in the winter (especially Turin) the city centre is full of people! You can clearly feel the city life in the winter, but most inhabitants go to the sea in the summer. Turin is more of a winter-night city, like in this period (apart from the sad coronavirus situation) it would be full of people going out for christmas' shopping, hanging out with friends or just simply going to work. My suggestion: visit Turin in the winter, you can appreciate the city a lot more :) cheers!

Прогуливаясь по центру города, вы ощутите Dolce Vita, что по-итальянски означает: «Жизнь полна удовольствия и роскоши».
I watched this walking tour and visited Turin in Oct 2023. I parked my rental car near attractions, in front of a university in a safe looking area and walked the historical part of the city for about 2-hr. We came back & our car was vandalized, 3 windows were broken, & our money, luggages (were in the truck), and everything else were stolen. I asked people for help, they didn't, the police arrived but was useless. I checked later & found out that Turin has a crime rate for vandalism of 60 which is considered high. Very much disappointed!
Much love back. I had a few Bangladeshi classmates in college here in Turin. Most immigrants from Bangladesh here unfortunately are very poor, though, which breaks my heart as they are also some of the most decent and honest people I know.
I dont know your budget for making these films but if you want to take a load off your feet and slow the pace of your filming I would suggest a small electrical vehicle with a seat and somewhere to mount a swiveling camera. The logic I used to make this comment and suggestion is that a traveling craft with a adjustable speed gives you the ability to slow your pace and actually see all the details in live. I also want you to know if you choose or can afford to get one get one with a speed setting switch and not a throttle, as on occasion a throttle may shift and cause jerking in the video stream.
I don’t think there is a single spot in Italy that isn’t beautiful or worth visiting. I’m in love with that country, in every way.

This city looks really nice. It seems brighter and streets are wider than Naples.
Naples has nothing to do with the rest of italy, Naples is ghetto
Most elegant Italian city, perhaps on par with Trieste.
Whoever edits these vids does a good job. It's constant movement and that's what I like from walking video's.

Beautiful scenery. The graffiti was a bit weird though, I wouldn't expect it to be out in such relatively open spaces.
Unfortunally this is a typical plague of italian cities, especially Turin. Every corner, and i really mean every corner is affected by graffitis
