❤Damn Phil! I’m pretty sure that you’ve rewritten the definition of beast mode! So proud of your dedication & strength. Also, super glad I’m not a watermelon!😅

@@castlehorns I had to dig deep for that one, but the satisfaction was totally worth the pain (as it usually is). And the group I watched the watermelon eating competition with mutually agreed it was almost like watching a zombie movie 😂

Right before you showed the “watch out for bears” sign I said to myself, this looks like prime bear country! Wonderful video! Take good care of yourself!❤

Your videos capture very well what the trail is about. Time alone in the unforgiving wilderness to reflect on what we are and what our place is in it all....and you capture that well by not filling it with excessive commentary. On a side note......Fuck dude! you are a beast! That 24 hour challenge is more than impressive. Now rest and take care of your feet.....you will need them to be happy in WA

@@michaelsalzer4362 thanks man, I appreciate that. You nailed it in your explanation of what the trail is about. I try to keep it balanced between showing the natural beauty while still giving just enough explanation that people understand where I am & what I'm doing. When I'm not filming (which is about 99% of the time) there is an insane amount of solitude, quietness, and contemplation of the bigger picture, exactly like you said.
