I was determined to find this video again. Both the technique and low key presentation of this one are ideal for a beginner, thank you so much!
I cannot praise this video enough! I have tried to learn to knit several times and it never stuck. This video helped me actually learn and I'm so appreciative!
I’ve never cast on like this! I’ll have to try. Thank you for the detailed tutorial! I’m trying to teach a friend to knit but it’s hard to break it down as nicely as you do.

Wonderful tutorial! Very clear explanations and demonstration to be able to follow along. I can officially say I've learned how to knit! Looking forward to making a scarf now. Thank you! ☺️🧶🧣
You taught me how to knit today! ❤️ I was told by my son’s school - today - that for his online (we just started last week) handwork class the only way for him to learn knitting (which imbibes so many skills for a 7 year old) was if I learnt how to knit and then taught him - as online handwork for little children is an oxymoron - as one needs the teacher by ones side. I was in a panic because knitting has never been a part of my world - embroidery, yes but never knitting. You managed to teach this to me......and online too! Thank you! ❤️
thanks! im 14 and an absolute beginner, im getting knitting needles for christmas. i love your voice its very relaxing and the video is really helpful!

She has a very nice British accent. 👍🏼 😁
I’m a crocheter and out of all tutorials this one helped me the most thank you sm (for what it’s worth I’m also using pencils)
This was the first knitting video I watched and I loved it. I couldn’t find it when I looked for it again and peeked at a few others - a world of difference! I was determined to find this video again. Both the technique and low key presentation of this one are ideal for a beginner, thank you so much!
Jesus loves you all no matter what he is coming back soon Jesus is king my savior my everything ❤❤❤
I cannot praise this video enough! I have tried to learn to knit several times and it never stuck. This video helped me actually learn and I'm so appreciative!
This makes us so happy- yay🥰
I’ve never cast on like this! I’ll have to try. Thank you for the detailed tutorial! I’m trying to teach a friend to knit but it’s hard to break it down as nicely as you do.
Hi Kendyll, there are so many ways to cast on! It's great to use the method you know best, or the best one for the project - and we're glad this video helped you teach your friend! That's what we love about crafts - sharing the skills with each other! Kindest wishes to you both, with love from Merion and the LoveCrafts show xx

You are so, so, so lovely! I learned this stitch as a child, but my Nana was the one who cast on and cast off for me. It seemed like magic! Thank you for showing me how to do magic in this video ☺️💖
This is so precious🥰 Happy making✨
Wonderful tutorial! Very clear explanations and demonstration to be able to follow along. I can officially say I've learned how to knit! Looking forward to making a scarf now. Thank you! ☺️🧶🧣
She is absolutely wonderful, she takes her time and makes it easy to follow.
Thanks so much for your kind comment 🧡
You taught me how to knit today! ❤️
I was told by my son’s school - today - that for his online (we just started last week) handwork class the only way for him to learn knitting (which imbibes so many skills for a 7 year old) was if I learnt how to knit and then taught him - as online handwork for little children is an oxymoron - as one needs the teacher by ones side. I was in a panic because knitting has never been a part of my world - embroidery, yes but never knitting.
You managed to teach this to me......and online too!
Thank you! ❤️
Jesus loves you all no matter what he is coming back soon Jesus is king my savior my everything ❤❤❤

I literally use chopsticks as needles and works well!
That's amazing🥰
Wonderful! Learning to knit at 62 as it has been something I always wanted to learn. Have done crewel and embroidery so struggling with working with big needles! Feel quite clumsy! Your instructions are super! Your voice….. tone, speed, etc are perfect! Thank you!
This is such great feedback- thank you so much ❤️
Never knit b4, ty for the slow and thorough instructions. Def going to soon give it a try. I'm a crocheter but I love the look of knit on shawls. So I'm determined to give it a go.
Thank you so much Nathalie! Grab your needles and have a go! I am a crocheter too, and I love them both for different things! We'd love to hear how you get on - come back and tell us! Love, Merion xx

Best tutorial I’ve seen! I’ve watched three different ones and none of them worked, but this was so helpful!
I just found this and I’m thrilled with the careful and detailed instruction you provide. I’m getting back to knitting after an 11 year break.

thank you so much - 3 years ago i went to new york and learnt how to stitch, made my first keychain and swatch. I totally forgot and lost my needles and yarn. It took and hour to find it and I watched this video to learn again and it was super helpful - I absolutely love your yarn colour and the thickness and your needles, they are perfect.
🥰🥰🥰
Very clear to follow! Best way to lean is to just repeat and practice! Thanks for sharing!
You're a very patient teacher, and I really appreciate your speed and clarity. Thank you!
You are so very welcome! 🥰
Your instructions were so simple and easy to follow. And your voice and accent are very calming and enjoyable. I'm 52 and always wanted to learn, and today is the first day I have knitted.
This is so amazing!🥰
Was having trouble trying to crochet, so I switched to knitting. Used bamboo chopsticks as needles. Knitting's easier than crocheting. I'm glad. Thank you for this tutorial, madam!
You are so welcome! Happy making 🥰✨
Ma’am, you are an amazing teacher! Thank you for the tutorial

I know how to crochet and I finally bought some needles and wanted to try out knitting with a friend. It's only been half an hour and I already knitted a couple of rows! This tutorial is super clear and I can't wait to see what I will make in the future and how I'll improve
