Ikora's VA is really good at keeping that stern tone of voice but undertoning it with sadness. When she talks about Cayde, she sounds like she's a breath away from simply letting her voice crack. Not enough for you not to notice the hidden sadness but enough to know that its trying to hide.
furthermore - on neutral ground, she sounds like she's in her own world, with ideas coming to her every other second. any time she's fully yanked back into our world, she's low-key but makes her emotions damn well known.
Ashers dialogue Is really sad....... the fact that he thought to put his ghost out of its misery is just too much to take in... its really sad to think about it...
I love Asher. His life has been rife with tragedy, so I would love for him to have some big success. Although I know Im in the minority in liking him, so I'd just settle for him getting to do more.

Honestly if we would've seen Ikora's dialogue in game I think people would be liked her better. She has some really good lines about the situation in their respective seasons. I liked that she acknowledged our time with Ada, how she opposed our time spent with Calus, and how she feels regarding Zavala. It seems like she had more interactions with Zavala but it was scraped before the cutscene was made. I also love her lines about people in the tower, like Tess and Hawthorne. Ikora was so worried about Eris but she hardly had any lines about it outside of the first mission and that just sucks.

"You've faced much, Gaurdian. More then most. Don't let your fears consume you." when zavala said that it kinda gave me the idea that well we are crazily susceptible to the nightmare. The Guardian I mean. we've face some of the biggest baddies, I wonder if our guardian has trauma, how that pans out and all. We did see Crota Ghaul and the fanatic as nightmares. The Fanatic took Cadye, Ghaul killed tons of guardians and took the city, crota killed tonnnssss of guardians too and took all of eris' raid team, so personally to The Guardian, Crota's atrocities, maybe less, but huge impacts on The Guardian I would think. Just a thought.
this is what I think everyone has asked for in all of the campaigns and stories of the game. it finally builds character and gives them emotion. We are also bring literally everyone back and I love it, I never thought we would see Shiro again.
No one mentions it, but there’s no one making new Exos. The ones we have now are all Pre-Collapse even if they don’t remember it. So they are slowly dying out unless someone fires up some Bray-tech and starts making more. And considering how they are made, I don’t think that’s a line anyone wants crossed.

Ghosts can't alter Exo minds or create new ones because they are golden age tech and too complicated for them. In one of the lore books, Fellwinter's Ghost tried to repair his mind when his head was injured but couldn't access any of his software. Fellwinter ended having to shoot himself in the head for a full revive. My point is that eventually there will be no more Exos because their numbers are finite. And once the normal Exos are gone, the Guardian Exos will eventually die out.

I always found Asher annoying and really didn't like him. Until I heard this dialogue. Now I'm bawling my eyes out for him, just like I did with Cayde. I feel so awful for his situation. I wish my Guardian could give him a hug or something. What would be really awesome is if there was some kind of future in-depth missions into each NPC where we help them with their plights. Like Asher getting his arm back and fixing his Ghost. Moving Failsafe to another location so she wouldn't be alone anymore. That kind of stuff.
Some of this is def from Forsaken and its Annual Pass. Some are even from Shadowkeep. However some of these I have not heard. I'll have to stand next to some of these characters to be sure, however.
