I have my own channel with music i write compose ? Im self taught so can not read music i just play and know what i feel ,if you could a comment and advice for how i can achive somthings a little different is always good my youtube channel is ( imallwayshappy )

Never underestimate yourself as we are own worse critics, i learned how to play many flutes but can not read music but i do write and record what i play ,you learn and understand by playing in my case self taught .

My niece recently got a recorder and she is so happy about it. She´s seven years old and have already learned a couple of tunes. I´ll show her your channel.
You should also show her Sarah Jeffrey / Team Recorder. She's a recorder player and does a lot of videos on how to play the recorder, different types of recorder, etc

Silly question but have you always had dimples under your bottom lip or is that something that came from holding embouchure for many years?
I can play a high e flat and high f but I have difficulty playing the high e. Any help would be appreciated. Love your channel. Btw, I’m a young 70 year old playing for a few years.
John Stump you should get a flute with a split e mechanism. It helps so much getting a high e out!!

wow, you review a violin! some great musicians out there. I learned a lot from your critiques. that Mignon is really nice piece, but I don't think I could play so flowing - that girl is professional grade for sure. this video shows how you can potentially offer something to every level of flautist. that guy with the light up piano, what program or app he used?

Im self taught do not read music or understand the dots basic scale is fine but nothing much past it ,
abracadabra flute is an amazing book for learning to read music as you learn flute, it is how I learnt years ago! Good luck 👍

Ah I see: I just found it was really broken down to an eaay to learn kind of level. I am sorry if my answer seemed patronising at all. Good for you tho teaching yourself an instrument is no easy feat :-)

I have problem when playing flute. My hands and fingers always sweating no matter is it cold or hot, I often miss the key becaus my finger (especially my pinky) always slipping when sweating and it's really annoying. I need solution :(
Some people put stamps for extra grip and I think Yamaha makes a tape for the mouth piece for anti-slipping. You can cut those up and put it on the pinky key (Eb). Might be a good solution.
