    Thank you for this! It really is a lot of hard work. And I am so sorry you get so many negative comments lately :( Keep strong! I hope the negative people will get bored and move off soon. We all want to "spoil" our animals, and I think many feels rescues deserve a little extra. But that little extra doesn't come in shiny buckets, spa treatments and only treats and gentle voices. They are still big animals, and need to be corrected (yes I am reffering to the comments on the previous video), they are happy by being fed and groomed and slowly trained to realize humans aren't scary. I "spoiled" my rescue cat by letting him do pretty much whatever and fed him lots of treats. That gave him skeletal issue due to the extra weight, and he now also likes to sit on electronics wich leads them to be frizzed out early. So by "spoiling" him, I actually made him suffer. But a lot of people don't want to admit that these are animals and not humans. but you got this! and keep posting! I know there are many of us who will keep watching and liking/sharing your videos

    Thank you for sharing. One day you were filmng when the vet was there and someone was in what I thought was probably the feed room. She and the vet were discussing what and how often to give a medication and treatments, and I thought, how the heck would you keep track? You have a very organized sysyem, and plotting by pasture makes a lot of sense to me, too! ❤❤

    Jeez, the animal rescue community can often be so condescending and outright toxic. Everyone always knows how to do it so much better and makes sure to let everyone know in the most nasty way possible.
    How about lifting each other up instead and recognising the good work that is being done! I think constructive criticism has a place when it comes from a place of empathy and having imagined what it's like to care for 20+ horses every day ourselves. When I try, I can only raise my hat to Pony Tales and remain respectfully silent.

    I would like more such videos, feeding, visiting, checking how horses are doing... A person could attach a little camera on a body, that would have free hands and could be little comentars or without comentars just nature sound.

      Could also note that those 'pampered' race and show horses are generally much more likely to colic, have psychological problems since they aren't allowed to live as horse, and frequently have a shorter life expectancy.

    That’s not grain. Feeding pellets is not feeding grain.

    • @HughLlewellyn
      @HughLlewellyn Месяц назад +1

      Using "grain" as a simplified term that is commonly used for all non-leafy feed types is probably a lot less cumbersome than listing EVERY INGREDIENT IN THOSE PELLETS/GRAIN MIXTURES/SUPPLEMENTS & VITAMINS in the title. Don't you think? Sheesh.
