    I somehow missed that they came out with the ND3. Seems that they improved areas that needed it and added some bonuses from your review!

      Yeah I’m not sure if Mazda identifies it as ND3 but definitely some nice improvements. Thanks for watching man!

    I wish I could order this interior color with the red paint.

      Ah yes they really limit the special interior colors.

    The headlights are now LED & same with the tail lights for 2024. The new infotainment also allows you to see tire pressures at each wheel which is also new - very nice feature to have on this car. The asymmetrical differential also is new for 2024 on my 2016 Club soft top its an Limited Slip. The Kinetic Posture Control ( KPC ) which brakes the inside wheel is not new for 2024 but it will be new to me. Mazda also added some safety features to the 2024 Club models that did not have automatic braking in my 2016 Club. The steering I never had a problem with on my car but yes Mazda made on center feel a little better but I'll see that on the highway when my car get here. Adaptive cruise control ? Not a fan of adding more cost to this car on a feature I'll never use. Not earth shattering changes but little tweaks to make it handle better in the turns. Top heavy feel is what you said in the 2024 Toyota GR86 comparison video & got to say I've never felt that in 7+ years of driving my 2016 Club. The way to show the driving in this car is top down & I noticed every video scene of you driving the top is up. Got to say Car Guy the top up is never what you want to record in this car on a beautiful day !

      Thanks for sharing! Yeah I keep top up to limit wind noise but yes top down is the way to go!

      @@CarGuy11 You put the top down but roll the side windows up & wind noise is minimal. Next time your microphone can be put inside the interior & not be effected by the wind noise. Never cared for convertibles before this car. The test drive in the 1st week of March 2017 was amazing for me with my car as it opened my eyes to just how good this car really is. The day before I test drove a 2017 Fiat 124 Spyder Abarth but it was disappointing with a heavy clutch & turbo lag. The almost exactly equipped 2016 MX-5 Club soft top was completely different in how that Naturally Aspirated engine provides instant throttle response along with a super light clutch. I was ready to do the deal but I forgot my checkbook at home. So after a short test drive drove home to get my checkbook. On the way back to the dealer I started to get 2nd thoughts on Buying it. It was a Saturday & already 20 minutes after their closing time. After telling the sales Manager about the 2nd thoughts he said park your car in our lot & take the car on an extended test drive. After work Monday come back & we will talk. So I drove that car for 4 hours after leaving the parking lot. 30 degrees top down windows up & the heater on high driving on every good road I could think of. Sunday I took it to the highway driving 75 miles out coming back after some backroads looking at the mileage I put on about 250 miles in barely 1.25 days of driving. Monday after work I grabbed the checkbook & with my trade in plus a check made the deal. That Sales Manager knew what he was doing. Letting the car SELL itself to me.
      When winter came later that year I ordered my winter tires & rims from the Tirerack. It really handles the snow / ice / sub zero temperatures well. Totally surprised because everybody puts these cars away when the snow flies.

    I really dislike those wheels. they seem so tacky. Shoulda kept em solid silver. Heck even solid black looks better imo.

      @@CarGuy11 I am not a fan of those wheels either. I believe the Club model come with these wheels if you don't get the BBR package ( you get the BBS wheels in that ) ! I have a 2024 Club soft top with the BBR package on order. No tan interior option on the Club models either its only GT models. 😎

      @@ag4allgoodNot true about the Club getting those wheels if you don’t get the BBS package, the ones on the Club are all black with a split 5 spoke type design and they look way better than the ugly GT wheels!

      They gotta spend that R&D money on SUV’s that people actually buy so they can still afford to make the Miata.
      I mean, look at Toyota and the 4Runner, they JUST updated it and it was on sale for 16 years virtually unchanged AND it was a top seller for them

    • @ag4allgood
      @ag4allgood 2 месяца назад

      @@skunkop Agree on that one. If Fiat had not done the 124 Spyder in the same Hiroshima plant there was talk of no more MX-5 ( Miata ) ! Mazda set a sales record last year but its the SUV sales that are selling. This small light weight roadster might be the best selling roadster of all time but if US / Canada MX-5 sales go over 14,000 it will be a miracle.

      @@ccolivardia How many GR86s does Toyota sell in a year ? We are seeing sports car sales dwindle in the US.
