  • We visit 2 places today that you have to check out! Our favourite local Bún Chả restaurant and Train Street!
In Hanoi, Vietnam, lies a hidden gem that captivates both locals and tourists alike. Train Street, located in the vibrant Old Quarter of the city, offers a truly unique experience where you can sip an egg coffee or enjoy a meal while the train passes within centimeters of you!!!! It will give you an adrenaline rush like no other!
Originally, Train Street was simply a residential area but gained popularity over time as visitors began to appreciate the thrill of having a train zoom past them. The street is lined with charming cafes, local houses, and small shops, which add to the quaint atmosphere. As the train approaches, residents and café owners swiftly move their belongings inside, allowing the train to pass with precision.
It's important to note that Train Street is not your average tourist attraction. The street is still a functioning neighborhood where people live, work, and go about their daily lives. As a visitor, it is crucial to respect the residents' privacy and abide by the safety precautions in place.
Visiting Train Street offers more than just a thrilling encounter with trains - it also gives you an opportunity to experience the rhythm of Hanoi. Strolling through the lively streets, you'll see locals going about their daily chores, children playing, and street vendors selling their delicious snacks. The atmosphere is invigorating, providing a real taste of Vietnamese urban life.
We eat a delicious Bún Chả, a traditional Vietnamese dish that has its roots in the bustling streets of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. This iconic dish consists of grilled fatty pork (cha) served with a plate of white rice noodles (bun), fresh herbs, and a dipping sauce. Bun cha is a popular street food in Hanoi and can be found in numerous food stalls and local restaurants throughout the city.
The origins of bun cha can be traced back to the streets of Hanoi, where it has been a beloved dish for generations. The dish is known for its unique combination of flavors and textures, with the tender and flavorful pork complemented by the freshness of the herbs and the tangy sweetness of the dipping sauce.

What a shame ! Some foreign tourists in Vietnam are awfully dishonest . Not only they come here to enjoy the beauty of our country , our good food but they also take advantage of our kindness and low cost of travelling and sometimes try to steal our poor hardworking people . My cousin who owns an hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi told me that he was stolen many times by some foreigners ( especially the backpackers ) who left without paying . And when they were caught they tried to blackmail him by threatening to post negative vlogs on RUclips in order to ruin his business . The cases of some foreign bikers in Ninh Binh and Hoi An who argued with the parking lot guardians , refusing to pay for the parking fees were flagrant examples of tourist's dishonesty and stealing .Thank you very much for filming those past and today events and posting them on your channel to show to the world that many foreign tourists here are very tricky and dishonest . You two are the kind of good foreign tourists that we love to welcome in our country . Thank you and have a nice continuation of your trip in Vietnam . God bless you my friends .

It looks like fun but not really my cup of tea. I'd pay to see Tim taking the P out of the 'Influenzas' though :D I'd love to see information about the photographic gear you use including GoPro settings. I can never get my videos looking so crisp and clear especially on RUclips.
Pity about those tourists trying to escape payment, also a pity when tourists are ripped off and scammed. It does go both ways.

We have an 11 and a 12 and the 12 is significantly better in quality and run time(without over heating). The 12 shoots in 5.3K so you can use the footage for 16:9 or 9:16 and still have 4K quality. We have it on Linear, horizon lock, 50fps , we use antiflicker if there are lights or its night 😁

@@vintagefoodfarm thank you so much! The quality you get using those settings is excellent. I do often wonder if the quality on RUclips improves as the subscriber/view count goes up, it seems to. Though using 4K will make a big difference too. I only used 1080p previously but uploaded it as 4k. Thanks once again, I'm still deciding if I should splurge now or wait :)
