Hey I am totally in love with clearness of your videos. Yesterday you helped me step by step with encrypting my hard drive. TOday you showed me something new. Good work my friend. Cheers from Poland.
Please keep the good work and bless us with your guidance with the programs based on linux such as video and audio editors and anything that you briliand mind wants to bring for our greatest future with the linux users! Thank you !
I will publish such videos occasionally. Unfortunately, they do not gain many views. So, most of such videos will be only on my Patreon page www.patreon.com/averagelinuxuser
Ah this is really cool. Just wish you could edit the text afterwards but that would require a bigger template class, so maybe some day. Haven't used kdenlive in years and it's really matured.
Wonderful tutorial! Thanks. I want to work on raspberry pi, subscribed to your channel. You have an interesting accent, similar to Russian. You are Russian?
In the end you use the animation in the .kdenlive format to take advantage of the transparency ? If you exported the video clip animation, you lost the right transparency ?
Thanks for your nice explaination! I wanted to ask which mouse animation you are using for making the videos? I did not find a working recent one as I searched end of 2020. Thanks for a tip!
Wow! That is so neat! I Didn't know you could do that. I have only used Kdenlive for editing out "Adds" from my recordings... I have see all the drop downs but never used or know what they do... I plan to take all of the OLD Family VHS tapes and make them Digital. I have a dubbing VCR that has HDMI output and a capture card that is USB3 plugged into my Linux box and I have been using SimpleScreenRecorder to record the screen. I have not done any editing yet, I just record a hour at a time as mose are 5 hours + long... :D This could be useful as a banner for each video... Thanks! LLAP
Hello my friend! Very good instructions! Go ahead...! :) You mentioned in one Debian 10 Video, that kdenlive is not really usable under Debian 10 KDE odr Gnome. I use it with Arch, but unfortunately i still have a lot of crashes. Could you do an instruction video how to setup the system to really enjoy using kdenlive? Are there any specific packages, which have to be installed or system tweaks that have to be made? I have a special little problem with kdenlive which is annoying me a lot, perhaps you can reproduce it or have an solutiuon: I like to do video cuts exactly synchronized with music song beats. So i would like to "tap in" the beats with markers before cutting to have the cut positions to snap to. That's not possible on my system, i always have about 500ms of delay when i listen to the music track and tap in the beats. So the markers are always a little to late and out of sync... Can you reproduce this? Do you have an idea?
I didn't know it could be possible without other animation software. great tutorial keep it up bro; & please can you also tell me the background music i really love it. thanks in advance.
I did videos similar to this one earlier. But they get much less views than reviews. It's discouraging. So, I decided to make such videos mostly for my Patreon www.patreon.com/averagelinuxuser
This is quite interesting. I think all the small tips are much more important in this video than the actual lower third. Didn't know you can import an entire project as a single clip like that. That sounds very useful, since that means you can still edit the lower third. I'm very curious how the details of that work. Can you actually open the original project as separate clips to edit it for the new project? If you edit the original lower third project separately and save it, will the changes sync to any project that is using it?
Is there an alternative to Slide? I have V20.04.1 and slide isn't in the list anymore :( I got around it by using position effect. I also can't seem to import the ".kdenlive" file into my existing video
Using the animation (as a transparent layer) in the way shown at 6:35 ff, doesn't work with kdenlive 17.12.3 (Mint 19.2) - neither by importing the project file nor a rendered video file. It cost me an entire day to find that my understanding of alpha channels is not totally messed up, but kdenlive's is... . It does work with the appimage version 20.8.2, though. But then you will have to handle a completely different set of bugs. Oh dear... But thanks for the demonstration, anyways...

Opening projects inside other projects (6:50) is one of the most underrated abilities of Kdenlive!! truly useful !

Nice video, push for more original content like this! Distro reviews are "common" so they become a bit boring imho. Good job :)

Might be good to learn a bit of blender for this. I think you can make it precise and perfect as you want.
You are right. I need to learn Blender too. Thanks

I got around it by using position effect. I also can't seem to import the ".kdenlive" file into my existing video
awesome video, thanks. is there a place to download these already made effects??

Do you know any way to make Plasma settings portable?
Great tutorials! Any chance of a tutorial about making a custom lightweight distro, something like debian + WM (iceWM, Openbox etc)? Thank you.
Thanks for the comment. No custom distro tutorials at the moment, sorry.
Can you make a tutorial for setting up Kmail clients, Kontact in detail...... Cheers from India.....
Is that yellow only for me looks like more green?
Haha. It's not pure yellow but it's yellow to me.
@@AverageLinuxUser We need a moderator to solve our argue ;) i can't sleep without solving this issue ;)
It is a yellowish green color. You both win :-o)
I don't know why, but the preview of the project in KDENLIVE shows the truth and after rendering to a file (.mp4) the animation is incorrect.
Not following. How can I create new title banner? For ex I have to implement 20 titles. Should I create 20 different projects for each title?! 🤯
Cannot follow along after 3:05, adding keyframes is different on the newer version that is out now.
Can you review MX lInux?
How i learn more about linux?
Hello! Please do a review on Olive program
I am thinking about giving it a try. Thanks for the request
