      @@ChaseandMelia on music
“It’s a huge part of our culture,” the singer says. “In the car my dad would always play his favourite Moroccan artists and I’d be singing along. There was a lot of Arabic music being played and a lot of pop music when we listened to the radio so it was a nice blend of both.”
She said singing along with Arabic music those hallmarks just made it into her voice.

Her vibrato is very similar to florence welch's. Although florence capitalizes on it more, their vibrato is very similar. Always have been a fan of that fast vibrato, wish I could do it 😩

@@ChaseandMelia a young lady from Kazakhstan used one of Foo- she yuh's ( I heard her pronounce her name and was a bit surprised by how she pronounced her name.) songs as her audition. The girl's name Daneliya (Dan El yuh) Tuleshova (Too lesh ovuh) emphasis on the second vowel. Anyway back to the song it was Faouzia's 'Tears Of Gold' which seemed to give a bit of a boost too interest in Faouzia's songs. I might be reading too much into this but she did a duet with John Legend that I am going to give the link to not to react but to enjoy.
As for Daneliya, she made it to the finals of AGT 2020, but the song I wanted you to see and hear is the second treatment of Daneliya's audition song which is a longer version. So I am going to give you first the link to Faouzia and John Legend. Then I will give you the link to Daneliya's long version of 'Tears Of Gold'.

I’m so tired of the American Idol school/factory.. it’s so good to see that people are finding out that there are A LOT of great singers that don’t sound like an AI product.
I discovered Ofra Haza (RIP 😞) on MTV back in the ‘80s and she opened a whole different world to me. I fell in love with her voice and also started listening to singers from a lot other countries.
I was a wedding singer for over a decade and during that time I had the opportunity to add a few Middle East songs to my repertoire. It was SO MUCH FUN to se the faces of people when I was singing in Turkish or Arabic. 😎

Talking about the thrill and the vibrato, I just want to inform you that since she is of an Arab descent (she is a Moroccan Canadian) and grew up listening to Arab singers in her home and feeling their voices' resonances and was definitely practicing and singing their songs, she then easily cultivated those characteristics and she now so successfully blends them in her present music and renditions. She is amazing. With such a unique voice and that cultivated mind, she will certainly shine globally. Reactions accross the world to her fantastic singing are already spreading like fire. It's super interesting about the flexibility of the throat and ability to trill. One of the top comments said it had something to do with her Moroccan heritage and thinking about, the Vietnamese language that I speak is very throat centric (many tones so being able to make sound from your throat is key) and I've always had an easy time with trills and runs. I am thinking that whatever the Moroccan language is would be also very tonal.

Her voice never gives off any sound of auto tune.not even close.her vibrato has depth and it compliments her vocal texture so much.

She can do that trills thingy maybe because she know Arabic traditional singing style because Arabic traditional songs have a lot of trills.

It is refreshing to hear your comment, yours totally different from other commentators. I’m here to see your other reaction, after Siti Nurhaliza, Malaysia No 1 and voice of Asia. Faouzia voice is stunning. I love it! You makes me appreciate artist singing skill more.
