- One of our favorite places in the world is Minnesota's Root River Valley and in particular the Root River Bicycle Trails. On this early September ride, we go from Lanesboro to Fountain and back. It was an amazingly beautiful day. With this video, I have completely covered the complete set of trails in the Root River Valley (Root River State Trail and Harmony Preston State Trail).

At 6:50 is at old barn resort we go camping there lol very nice place thx for the video 🎉😮
Glad you enjoyed the video. We used to camp at the Old Barn for many years with our kids. It is a lot of fun but a bit crowded these days that is why we moved to the Eagle Cliff campground. Thanks for watching and hopefully we in the Midwest will be out camping and bicycling soon.

Minnesota is a great place to stay. We moved here 33 years ago and never thought we would stay but there is no better place to live IMHO. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I do remember that sinkhole, luckily no such repeat here in MN!
