Thank you comrades for the wonderful work done in digesting this vital topic. It was indeed educative I must admit. I have been taking notes and I think this was extensively scrutinized. However, I would prefer recommending a 1975 article written by Peter Ekkeh on the Two publics. It explains the accountability crisis in Africa in a manner that the even Dambisa Moyos and John Perkins could not perceive. all that was shared was based on what i could consider a Group bias analysis. its more of the internal-external analysis. However, less attention was given to the internal dynamics of our governance and cultural systems that seem to clash more often. Napolean once said, "they defeated us not because they are strong but rather, we were weak." An internal focus on what makes us so much dependent on foreign Aid and why it is slowly being considered a way of life for our african economies must also be observed and studied from the inside while keeping the external causes constant! Elem.
