3 minutes in and Diego is already talking about referees trying to help Real Madrid after we got cheated out of 3 penalties and 2 points. If the referees are helping anybody, they're trying to put Barcelona 2nd so they play in the Super Copa. Vitor Roque gets a second yellow for stomping on a player, Atletico Madrid get a goal rightfully cancelled for offside, Real Madrid don't get even 1 of 3 clear pens and it's still "Barca against the refs". He didn't even mention the Cancelo handball at 0-0 not being called as a pen. And being happy about illegally leaked audio than is then manipulated before it's leaked? That's not a laughing matter, that could kill the sport, or at least La Liga.
I do agree that we "need" Barcelona to be good. Or at least it's better when they're good. It's the biggest rivalry in modern football and maybe the greatest in the history of the sport.
And I hope he doesn't let football ruin his mental. It's a beautiful sport, but it's not worth that. We all have periods where referees seem to be against our team, or we make it seem that way in our heads, but at the end of the day, refs are just shit. Laugh it off and move on. Hope your team dominates enough to win despite the terrible refs.
edit: watched the entire video now and Diego seems to be changing his mind a bit on refs and agreeing more and more with Kiyan that refs are just TERRIBLE at their job.

@@andarupramudito9998 I know, but that's the ONLY thing he has given in favor of Real Madrid all season. And had we won, he probably wouldn't have said it. And he never mentions any calls going in favor of Barca. No pen called against Araujo 2 weeks ago, no call pen call on Cancelo in the weekend. Nothing. Girona getting a goal rightfully called offside is also "refs helping Real Madrid".
They don’t relize that this behaviour is affecting them in a negative way, They’re shifting their energy to build a better team and play better football into weekly shouting on any call called in any of the top 4 matches. If they focused their energy on playing better, they could’ve at least been a contender in the champions league

The RFEF needs to be pressured to be more consistent with their on field calls, it's not just this past week, it's multiple weeks.
All over the league there are ridiculous calls and I'm not sure there are this many controversies in other leagues.
I personally don't want these games to affect my mood and life.
There's so much to be thankful beyond football or any other mediated experience.
No they def are in other leagues apparently liverpool got cheated this weekend against arsenal and again against Chelsea before that I think

Diego sounds defeated and I'm sure his lingering illness isn't helping. Barca is a mess. La Liga referees are a trash. The Negreira case is still pending. Real Madrid is leading the league. At this point, dude might need to resign at least for the rest of this season because shit ain't getting any better in his football universe. Best wishes to you Diego. Please take care of your mental health.

I agree. I don’t feel like Madrid was very big recipients of good or bad calls all year until that one.
And frankly it has to be a top 3 worst VAR decision yet. La Liga, Prem, CL you name it. So I think it’s possible that it’s affected all of La Liga

Barca fans are celebrating the Negreira trophies and Messi's rigged world cup and ballon d'ors till this day, but when the referees make CORRECT calls they all start crying. They can't even imagine how we felt back then.
I wouldn't mind if this dirty club disappears. Our rival is the best team (or second best after us) in the world, because beating that team makes us the best. Currently that's Man City. Barcelona haven't been that team for a long time now and they are not even our main rival in La Liga anymore.
When Bartomeu was signing players and giving them insane salaries they were bragging how they have a "pull". Now that they are broke and Messi has left they are starting to realize how small their club is compared to Real Madrid and I absolutely love it.
