I honestly never considered a cruise until watching this. The theater and the water show looked pretty amazing, and I love live music too, especially the reggae and jazz. Would be quite a trip to do all that stuff on a boat! What a ship! I was thinking the same that a cruise is sort of the opposite of RV travel, so I was surprised to see this. Thanks for producing it. (Royal Caribbean should be paying you royalties). Great stuff as always!

Just go on one, like I did earlier this year. We loved the experience and met really nice people, and was very well treated by the entire crew. The veiws of the ocean from the balcony while sipping coffe can't be put into words. Then we had to come home. But we booked another for next year!
This was a fun adventure. Traveling Robert and the fam in Mexico for a day trip. The interesting aspect is seeing Traveling Robert out of his element, not driving the ship and in a very large and crowded ship, Everybody knows He prefers to be away from crowds and in very isolated places.
My family and I were just on the carnival magic 3 weeks ago. Our first cruise and we were very happy on the magic. The icon is definitely next level X 10. Very impressive!

I may try a cruise sometime. I would probably want one that stops in port every day and which has more to see in each port. Maybe a Mediterranean cruise would be good for that? Anyway, it's not always easy to find that perfect balance on vacation between relaxation and fun or not crowded but then also having convenience of food and entertainment options nearby

It's a 'vacation in box'. We've done several cruises, including two this year with our parents, but we enjoy RVing so much more. Cruising is far too fast with far too many people onboard. You get to savor a place, if you want to, when you're RVing. And the food on the cruises gets old quickly.

We just sailed on Icon at the end of October - and I'll be honest with you, our cruise was a lot less crowded and was probably a lot more fun! LOL! All kidding aside, you looked like you had a blast!

Great video Robert! We take a cruise once a year to break it up a bit and do something different. My son enjoys them alot. We use RCL exclusively but have found that with the larger ships the quality of customer service has suffered . Unfortunately , they have let the conditions of their smaller (older) fleet decay a bit so u are left having to chose between both. Either way, looks like ur mom had a great time !
7200 guests sounds horrible ... You are right; this is the opposite of the RV'ing. Great way to spend time with Mom. Try Oceana Cruse, they have several ships with only 600 guests. It is much more peaceful🤟
Had to do a double take on the shower mixer. I just bought and installed the same one last week! It's a long way from home (Finland). The ship was built in Turku Finland, so it makes sense.

I’ll stick with Regent Seven Seas if I want to cruise which I don’t. About 10 years ago, I was at a resort in Mexico. I saw some dudes at the swim-up bar who didn’t leave for several hours. So, no chance I’m going to those bars.

This use to be my choice of vacation until I got an RV five years ago. We were on Harmony in June and felt the same as you.

After having done several cruises, we haven't found any of them to truly be relaxing. The pace is too fast, and the time in each port is too short.
