After about two years my detectors would go off and wouldn’t stop. I figured out it was dust (our house is dusty). I used a blast of canned air to clean them. Now I blast with air once a year.
Why need a photoelectric one, or even combination of both, if the ionizing sensor is sensitive enough to detect the slightest presence of smoke? And won't a cctv with motion sensor be more reliable in detecting smoke and flames which are always in motion?
Thanks for this very informative post 👍
