    i know this is from a year ago. but the l67 pump is 2 stage and needs the speed controller, which is in the boot, found behind the drivers side boot carpet

      Thanks mate yeah we knew about that but the car had several done drift events and had never run lean. It’s shortly going to be L67! Swapped also

    hey mate i have a vy Commodore with a lpg tank aswell is there any special precaution you need to do when removing the lpg gas filler?

      Just make sure the tank is properly empty. I recommend running the car on gas until it completely runs out. Then close the shut off valve at the tank.

    Hey mate doubt you’ll see this now days but if I pull all of the gas crap out of my engine bay and pull the tank will it run or do I have to remove all the wiring from the ecu?

      Hey mate. Yes you do. It’s very easy to do though. You can easily make out how the wiring was before. Some wires you can just remove, but there is a couple of wires that need to be joined back together

    hey do you have a fuel guage error from pulling the lpg, trying to sort out how the wires can run back into the car and not hae a fuel guage error

    • @cassarindustries_wheelwerk
      @cassarindustries_wheelwerk  2 года назад +1

      Nope, no error at all. But this system had a seperate gas gauages for the lpg which was just a small square thing in 5 green lights and one red light to indicate the gas level.
      If yours used the factory in dash fuel gauge to show both the fuel level and the lpg level, it’s possible some wiring may have been modified behind the cluster.
      Commodores are also common for the fuel sender in the fuel tank to be faulty. Scan for fault codes and if it shows a code for a fuel sender then chuck a new pump and sender unit in the tank.

      @@cassarindustries_wheelwerk i have a vy so i put it in diagnostic mode and an lpg resistor level come up with no resistance so im 90% sure thats why its coming up with the error. any ideas on how to show resistance in the wire without having the lpg tank in there? the lpg was directly hooked up to the ecu and cluster. im hoping theres a way to fix it without putting a new cluster and ecu in. also the fuel guage showed resistance and has so far been accurate with the fuel ive put in so i dont think its petrol related.

      If the wires for the gas tank gauge are still there then what you can do is just check the resistance on the fuel tank where the gauge is. Then just get a resistor of the same value and connect it into the wires that are still in the car.
      Besides that mate no idea without seeing it for myself…
