I had to watch it 50 times... But this video helped me get the job done right! Going into a job like this knowing all the socket/bit sizes and torques to set made it so much less daunting. Cheer TRQ thanks for the video.

This video is great but please note this is for an ALL WHEEL DRIVE Avalanche. I have a 2006 RWD and didn't realize it was different until I pulled the tire off and noticed that there is no central axel nut, so the 36mm socket is not needed. Once the three 15mm bolts are removed from the backside of the caliper mount, the rotor and wheel hub come off together as one piece. There was an extremely flat washer/gasket around two of the studs keeping them together so I had to fit a flathead screwdriver under and work them off which separated the rotor from the wheelhub. Also, as some others have commented you can skip the T55 part, just skip right to removing the entire caliper mount with the 18mm socket.
On my 06 avalanche it doesn't take t55 bolts for the caliper slides it takes 18 mm just like the caliper bracket, also all I did was take off the bracket and then hang the whole assembly save some time. Edit: can use rope to hang brake assembly, also if you don't have an old brake compression tool, you can use a big c clamp.

Just remove the caliper mount bolts not the sliders and remove as an assembly and hang it to the side save a few minutes
Very informative. Replacing everything on the braking system on a used 2005 av I just picked up.

Fantastic video on so many levels! Thank-you
Very nice I’m going to do on my truck 👍👍👍
I appreciate 😎👍👆
Just a tip... you may need to turn the steering wheel left or right to get a socket on and to torque the hub and caliper bolts.
Great video, thanks!
Followed this video and got it done but now the truck says service brake system but still stops fine any ideas?
what size compressor will someone suggest to complete this job?
Is that a 4 wheel drive?
Nice
