That came off super easy for you, one of mine is making a bit of sound I sense like a winter tire kind of grind faintly - I can wiggle the steering as I drive that kinda changes the noise so mine is due. I live where there is much rust etc I suspect mine will offer more resistance to disassembly. I feel like they should be changed in pairs will do both front and dust covers, brake lines etc
Did my drivers side, took a few days including getting it all blocked up and trying to remove the failed bearing it was welded by rust, it was nasty involving much pounding, heating, cursing etc My bearings were worn much worse that I suspected had alot of play, finished it off with new bolts, dust covers and caliper/hose, gonna run smooth now
SPARKED!!!!! Thanks for vid, im gonna be doin my neighbors bearings, just wanted to see if any weird stuff was goin like bearing being pressed in knuckle, 3 bolts! Thanks man!
Im doing the same thing to my 99 Sierra in the morning. Just glad i dont live in the rust belt, lol.
Thanks for the info. Great job
Good luck sir! The rust is the worst part, lol! If you run into anything lmk and thanks!

This thing gave me hell for a second. A press would have certainly helped. Hey preventative maintenance isn’t a bad thing! Good luck out there

Have you got this same but on a 2005chevy 4 wheel drive
Yep - Same situation pretty much. You will want to use the bolt trick to "unpress" the wheel bearing out of the hub.
I've got to do that to mine also.
Its a fun task. Enjoy!
Your outer tie rod boot is shot so you need new tie rod ends.
I agree, it was a flip.
Spin the old one a few more times, just to make sure…
LOL bro…. I must have drank too much coffee when I did this video

Bro. Use elbow grease instead of strip science. Hopefully you used new hardware to mount everything back…
Do you have a link to that hub?
Indeed - www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chevrolet,2003,silverado+1500,4.3l+v6,1412064,brake+&+wheel+hub,wheel+bearing+&+hub,1636
@Rish is this for 4wd or 2wd? All the hubs I see say 4wd unless I'm overlooking it
@@timpierce3765 they are not interchangeable, the 4wd version has a hole in the middle for axle shaft
Gracias good thanks
Glad to help!
