even with save file editing, getting army ants, fire ants I can't get past the damn hermit crab-rove beetle-trap jaw wave. maybe i realized my mistake - i was using rapid-fire, but in this level there seem to be more weaker enemies rather than less stronger enemies - and that's where mortar shines. thanks!

Yep, mortar is needed here to quickly dispatch larger enemy waves. Especially the final wave, which is just all mainly level 3 ants.

Where do you get all those missions from? Are there any termite related missions?
You can find this in the main menu, then go to “arcade” and then “extra levels.” Theres current no termite extra level, but one could appear soon.

I needed the resilient to tank more hits for the majors. The longer they lived, the less food wasted on respawns.
