@@darkhelmet4248 if it's a GM TBI of the same era It would think it would. However you may be able to use a normal straight one which in my opinion would be far superior.
Nice!! You might could modify the collar to be shorter. Or use a taller filter and do away with it all together. There should be a knockout for the vent pipe in the bottom lid. I actually want to make an oval air cleaner for the flatty 2 2bbl setup. It's a bit of a way off as of yet.
@@garyscarstuff I think it would mess with the minutia of OCD I have. The bit that prevented me from bolting the GT-40 intake on the VW and going with a carburetor instead.
That will work. Keep plugging away Gary.
Thanks!
If you put a bolt on the throttle body side you can tighten it up so the air cleaner wont move on you.
Good idea! Thanks!
My TBI currently has 2 studs coming up. Will this work in one of the holes?

The collar does seem way too high, so shortening it makes sense. This wont be the final setup I use. Thanks!

Is that a standard part, or do they normally have a completely different way of mounting the air cleaner?
The base of the stock air cleaner is offset so you can use a straight mounting stud.
