thanks for the video! How about if I messed up on the "checking" -I want to use a previous backup on this file history drive? Now, in restore personal files- I am not able to see my previous back up from the file history. I just see the new one that was just backed up. Any hint of what to do? ThankS!

The old backup is gone coz the file history has been modified to show the new back up. I made same mistake too. But the initial back up can still be copied from the first computer to the second; but all amended docs after the back up would be lost due to the changed file history.

@@gbengaadebisi6621 i have run into the same issue. had to do a factory restore on my PC. I am now attempting to restore the backup i made on an external HDD. I can still access the backup itself through file explorer, however, not able to restore the backup of my data. Do i have to resort to manually copy and pasting my files and folders from the external or is ther another way i can get my backup onto the PC? Thank you.

I had the same issue. Figured it out. In that same "File History" screen, chose "Select Drive" on the left side. Then click on a drive. The option "I want to use a previous backup on this File History drive" should show up.
