The thing with E fuels is that if your car is capable of self tuning them, say E5. E10 or even E85, the ECU adds more fuel to reach the power levels required. My Holden/Chevy High Feature LFX 3.5L V6, using 98 octane gets 6.5L/100kms (36.18mpg) on the highway but with E85 I only get 8.5L/100kms (33mpg). Goes well off the mark though, E85 is equivalent to 107 octane! But be "warned" E85 won't even start an engine not tuned for it. Not enough fluid to even fire a normal engine...

I'm excited about your new RUclips channel. I've read a fair few of the articles on the website, can't wait to see what content you release on here!

Thanks! 👍 Little things I've picked up over the years and I've been guilty of most of these at some point.

You must mention that the cars are not designed for being muscle cars. Any modification without limits is dangerous and not cost efficient. Make your car better not worst!!!

Good point, I'm planning to redo this video and update it so I'll be sure to mention that. Thanks for the heads up.

The MG ZS is not designed at all to run on E10. Do NOT run any ethanol in these vehicles if you can avoid it. Run 95 or 98 non ethanol and it'll run beautifully.
If you run a turbocharged engine, please run the best non ethanol fuel you can find. Your entire system will thank you.

Great tip, and thanks for supporting my little channel. I had a Rover 220 GTi with the 2.0 Tomcat engine, these also did not like Ethanol fuels.
