BABYMETAL are one of the most powerful musical phenomena in the world today. They are taking the world by storm.
Formed in Japan, the three girls SU-METAL, YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL began their mission to unify the world through Heavy Metal in 2010. Backed and supported by some of the finest metal musicians their native land has to offer and grown from the seeds sown by band overseer KOBAMETAL, their self-titled debut album will finally be released in Europe on May 29th, 2015 on earMUSIC.
But beware, BABYMETAL is not just an invigorating introduction to its creator’s refined conceptual world and glorious tunes, it is also a fearsome statement of intent that takes the pop and metal rulebooks and set them ablaze amid a whirlwind of euphoria and energy.
The self-titled album is a dazzling and exhilarating explosion of thunderous modern metal and irresistible, infectious kawaii pop melodies. The infectious anthems range from the crunk-ified, party thrash of ‘line!’ to the widescreen power metal fury of ‘Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!’.
The album will be released as 1CD Standard Edition as well as a Limited CD+DVD Edition. Both versions include two bonus tracks: ‘Gimme Chocolate!!’ from their performance at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, and ‘Road of Resistance’ including the mighty guitar force of Herman Li and Sam Totman of Dragonforce. The DVD includes all of the band’s video clips.
BABYMETAL’s success in their native country Japan led to Top 10 singles in the Oricon chart in Japan, performances at several major festivals in Japan, including Summer Sonic 2013 and two consecutive sold out nights at Tokyo’s legendary Budokan venue in March 2014, in front of 20,000 people.
Eventually, BABYMETAL’s reputation had crossed the globe and was beginning to make waves in Europe and America too. With video clips with over 25 million views, the band became a sudden and huge internet phenomenon, leaving pop and metal fans around the world in no doubt about the magic and might of this new musical force. BABYMETAL made their first world tour, traversing continents to perform at the celebrated Sonisphere festival in Knebworth, England (and won over a vast field of 65,000 diehard metalheads in the process), were invited by pop icon Lady Gaga to support her on her prestigious ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour in the US, and played various sold out shows throughout Europe and in New York.
Not to mention the public approval of such rock icons as Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and Guns N’ Roses legend Slash who sang the band’s praises during a live radio interview, BABYMETAL entered 2015 as the hottest new band on planet Earth.

JJ's One Girl Band This band's music genre is a combination of J-pop and metal, while their record company specifically describes it as kawaii metal (cute metal). The band's manager loves both J-pop and metal so much, that he wanted to combine these 2 genres into 1 whole new genre and that's how Babymetal and kawaii metal came to exist.
The international version of their self-titled debut album, on which this song appears too, also has a song called "Road of Resistance" with the guitarists from Dragonforce (Herman Li and Sam Totman) on it.

I have no idea of Japanese social ways, in the US they'd do nothing for stars (including injured in sports) that wasn't in writing which is fair enough I guess, but perhaps Amuse is taking care to be gracias.
The RUclips channel makes about $15k a month. The girls do get royalties, but $15k split 100 different ways between band members, producers, publishers, etc isn't much money at all. But, the girls individually are worth between $1 to $5 mil each.
