Yes, it's all good to enforce it but how did you teach her down the initial part?

That was my first thought....can't find any vids on THAT little trick. I can get my pup to lie down...sometimes, but only if I'm standing right close. Lying down from a distance is a whole other thing and no one is showing how to accomplish that.
