    -------------------------------
From their punchy debut (A-Punk), to the more sonically dense Contra (White Sky), through to the reflective symphonies on Modern Vampires of the City (Step).
Vampire Weekend have made one of the best pop trilogies of the modern day. While going from massively disputed to quite possibly the most respected band in the indie scene. And what makes their execution even more memorable is that they’ve done this while evolving with each ensuing album. Their progression feels so natural and yet they’ve remained recognizably Vampire Weekend. If you listen to their albums in order, it makes perfect sense -- like it was exactly what the group hoped it to be from the very start. Visually they even look connected. But their musical arc is just as much about Rostam Batmanglij’s evolution as a producer and Ezra Koenig’s maturation as a writer.
A story of a band growing up.
    -------------------------------
    Vampire Weekend FAQ
Are Vampire Weekend still together? Is Vampire Weekend back together? Did Vampire Weekend break up?
No, Vampire Weekend did not break up. Yes, the group are still together. Although Rostam has stepped away from the group, Ezra and the other members just broke their six year hiatus with their fourth album, Father of the Bride.
Does Vampire Weekend have a new album?
Yes, Vampire Weekend’s fourth album Father of the Bride was released Friday, May 3, 2019.
How many albums does Vampire Weekend have?
As of 2019, Vampire Weekend have four albums.
Where did Vampire Weekend go to college?
The group met at Columbia University.
    Are Vampire Weekend good live?
That’s for you to decide. If you really love the band, you’ll love seeing them live.

To all my friends who are waking up to the truth, it’s not too late to be saved!
The bad news: We are all sinners with a fallen nature. No sin is greater or worse than any other, sin is sin. God is a Holy God and he cannot allow not even 1 sin into heaven.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
The good news, If Jesus could ask his Father to forgive those who tortured, mocked, blasphemed and crucified him what makes you think he won't forgive you!?
      The Gospel:
Jesus paid for our sins so that we might be saved, nothing we can do on this earth can ever save us.
Ephesians 2:8-9“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
“Romans 3:20-26 “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”
      How to be saved?
As a repentant sinner Look into your heart and confess: Dear God I am a wretched sinner, as I repent I put my faith that Jesus is God and that he died buried and resurrected so that his blood can wash away my sins I put my faith in that alone to save me not my good works in Jesus name I pray Amen.
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

I've only heard fantasies (thanks scott pilgrim), but I wasn't that impressed by it, it was fun but it didn't feel to be anything legendary. Is there another album I should try perhaps?

Luis Medina Rios try “old world underground where are you now?”, “live it out” ,”synthetica “ or “ the art of doubt”

I’m very glad you talked about Vampire Weekend evolution. They have one of the best discography of this last fifteen years, and Father of the Bride is a great record too! Btw, could you do a video on both Lorde and Ben Howard work/artistic career path? Love your videos man, keep it up!

This was so well made! So much information was fit into 10 mins, even though someone could 100% write a textbook on the meaning behind their songs.

I love all three of them, and I really see them as a trilogy with FOTB (really growing on me atm) a wonderful fresh post-Rostam new start.
But Modern Vampires is not only my favourite VW album, it's in my top couple of albums of all time.

Thank you for putting into words what they're all about! My fav album of the trilogy is the first one, exactly what you said about it is what drew me in.
FOTB for sure stands on its own next to the trilogy, but you can still tell it's the same band. They've just gotten older, seen more, have different priorities. I think it's also their most diverse album yet.

vampire weekend are the perfect summer vibes, great video explaining their music, does anyone else get a Paul Simon vibe from vampire weekend's music? my music producer friend showed me a few songs from Paul Simon and said it's where vampire weekend got their influence from for sure, I wanna throw him some love as he's always showing me cool music, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Grumpy Days, its seriously one of the best new songs I've heard in a while, he deserves way more recognition

Great work on the video as always. FOTB is amazing in my opinion, I feel, like their previous albums, this is an evolution of the band, not a step back. It's got some really interesting and complex beats and phrases in there.

Love this band so much. The first 2 albums came out as my high school career was ending and as such I’ve attached so much nostalgia to them both. Will always love them. MVotC is great but it can’t quite compare to Contra. FOTB might surpass Contra as my favorite, though.

i was in my peak teen years when they released modern vampires of the weekend and became a fan, they will forever remind me of my first love and first drunken frenzy and the first time i smoked weed and hannah hunt was tactile ugh i was so moved by them being pretentious (or being perceived as pretentious) because i was a gifted kid who was always called pretentious

Wow I kinda forgot about Vampire Weekend and how much I loved Contra. This video forced me to go back, have another listen and I am not mad at all. Should’ve mentioned the great project Discovery which was made up of Rostam and Wes Miles (Ra Ra Riot). Another job well done Middle 8.
