The next season UCLA would add the names on the back of the uniforms. Also the 3 point arc(officially)also came in 2 play that same season

The UCLA Athletic Department were publicly irate over this blowout. It was routine in those days for visiting teams to get ran out of Carmichael Auditorium, UCLA must have thought the name on their jersey's would command more respect. Someone forgot to inform UNC.

@@richardsnyder842 My position has always been if you don't want the opposing team to run up the score, then stop them. A loss is a loss, whether it's by a point or 30.
