How to Fix Empty Loot Table Chest in MCreator

- This is a problem that many of you have been having in the MCreator tutorial series. Hopefully this video will help you fix it.
COMMAND:
/give @s chest{BlockEntityTag:{LootTable:"modname:loot_table_registry_name"}}

Thank you for posting this video I saw your video about how to make loot tables but they were not working.
Are you planning on adding one more video to create text overlays, either simply on screen or in the F3 menu?
isn't there any other way to gain the loot chest cuz it never works with me, i tried everything and the loot never appears
This did not work for me at first because mine had 'chests/' in front of the loot table name. When I included 'chests/' in front of the loot table name it worked.
I am assuming this will only help if the loot table appeared like mine did. Using ModMonster's example it appeared like this for me:
/give @s chest{BlockEntityTag:{LootTable:"modname:chests/loot_table_registry_name"}}
If in MCreator your loot table registry name has 'chests/' in front of it, try this.
EDIT: If it is still not working make sure the mod name is exactly the same when you input it into the command. It is case sensitive!!

Hello mod monster I have another question do you know how to make food that can change your hearts in mcreator for example I'm trying to make a McDonald's burger in the game but when I eat it will give me a special heart ❤️ and when you look at the heart bar it's a heart with the McDonald's logo in it?
Hello im having problems with modded minecraft server for forge 1.17.1 using a mod from mcreator im having trouble I made a mode eith mcreator for 1.17.1 forge and it keeps saying the same error (MISMATCHED MOD CHANNEL LIST) I mean I am using Minecraft 1.17.1 and forge 37.1.1

Wait what do you do with the note pad because you cut the thing to immediate gameplay do I have to put this notepad in a certain folder.
No, the command I typed in Notepad was a command to type in game. I only used Notepad to visually show the command I was using. When I opened the game I immediately closed and deleted the note and didn’t save it anywhere.

Guys i just figured it out, the name first name you input when creating a new lootable has to be the same name as of the place that will appear "chests/blahblah", wich means the workspace entry must be named blahblah for the chests/blahblah to work.

Sometimes mod:chests/blahblah does not work so you have to do mod:blahblah for it to function, or vice versa.

If it still doesnt work try to do /setblock command like
/setblock ~ ~1 ~ barrel{LootTable:":chests/"} destroy
remove the "" put the names in there

Hello I have a question is it possible to make a mod in Mcreator that allows you to change the game settings for example I want to make a mod that allows me the user to be a basketball and I'm rolling around is that possible plz respond and thank you for your videos:)
Anything's possible, but that would require a massive amount of coding that I'm not really going to talk about in this series.

@@hirokaiz1998 As I said, anything is possible with the correct experience and tools, however it won't be possible in MCreator without coding.

its not working
im having two problems... first the loot chest command works but for some reason it only has one item in it, i have like 8 different itesm you can get from the chest but for some reason i only get one, it can be any item from the list and any amount of that item but its not giving me multiple different items?? second I place the loot chest in that structure but it spawns with the same thing in every chest. Say one of the loot is a rose bush and when making that structer and placing the loot chest it had a rose bush it in, now every single structure chest has a rose bush in it?? idk why its happening since it is the loot table chest and not just a random chest btw i luv your tutorials they are really helpful!!!
For the first problem I think you have set the rolls to a very low number and rolls is how many item stacks generate. For the second problem I think you have opened the chest, make sure to place the chest and not open it after getting it from the command
