Begode A2 Problems Solved?? Would YOU Trust this EUC?

- I performed a full teardown of my Begode A2 and it turns out the motherboard was in perfect shape with no damage, no burns, and no loose components. With nothing damaged, it had to be a software problem which seems to have been addressed during the most recent update.
This does not explain how I rode the "time bomb" firmware for 500+ miles with no cutouts before it randomly started dropping me. I can recall several times over those 500 miles on this FW where I interacted with the power button in similar ways during a ride and did not cutout. I've got no clue what caused it in the end.

I love my A2. It’s a great wheel for what it is.
I have not yet updated my firmware but i think i read somewhere someone said if there isn't any problems to just leave it as it is. Just dont wanna screw up what isnt broken. got almost 500 miles on mine. Thanks for the update 👍
I thought the same exact thing until it dropped me on my face 5 times! I would recommend updating, or atleast confirming you are not on firmware 1010. BTW I had 750 miles on mine, 500+ on the race mode firmware 1010 before it crapped out on me
Leave it as is
Absolutely trust the Assassin 2. Been riding it all winter with out a hiccup. Well maybe some hiccups adapting to the super sensitive spin button as I inadvertently kept hitting it. Atleast for the 1st coupla rides. Other than that, my A2 has been a champ. Not a fast wheel nor a long range wheel but for what it is, the incredible water resistance & the
Glad to hear the firmware solve the issue. Now I'm hoping to ride my A2 as smooth as you do. 😊
Good news! Be safe!
That’s fantastic news that the firmware update has solved the issue. Did you see the upgraded A2 (A2+) is released very soon.
Also can’t wait to see the new Begode Falcon as that’s a small wheel with suspension.
Yes! My next video will cover the Falcon vs A2+. Looking forward to more small wheels being developed soon
Hey friends, what is A2+? Where can I read about it? :)
@@e1kread about the A2+ here forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/34903-are-all-a2s-the-same/page/5/
@@PEVPOVThanks, it's cool.
Thanks for the quick follow up... what FW are you running now and what were u using?
I believe updated from 1010 to 1013
Hey I got my a2 in. Random question but do you know why it beeps twice when I get to 20kmh
Hey, yes you’ll need to disable the first 2 alarms. Check on the darkness bot app or begode app, I remember I had to disable the first 2 alarms.
@@PEVPOV yes i found it thank you again. those first two beeps were driving me nuts lolol
Maybe they did the update to make the EUC never stop work when riding even when you push the button
Unfortunately it was that way before the update as well. I tested literally everything including walking with the wheel while the power button is held down and it did not cut out / turn off even on the previous firmware. It was only while riding with weight on the wheel it would cutout
@@PEVPOV omg, that's weird haha, I have no idea what they did then
Living life on the edge of the dock.
A2's waterproof and I'm guessing he can swim😅
We're did you get the jump pads from

I got the 12mm, I would recommend the even larger 14mm
Begode and Extreme Bull need to do Quality Control before shipping out wheels.
And they need to build better quality wheels like Leaperkim and Inmotion.
Begode wheel are built like trash, too much cutting corners. Performance is nice, but the build quality make me not purchase their wheels
Fair nuff. That said, my A2 has been thru this winter snow, slush, ice & icy puddles with nary an issue. Thing's built like a tank & water resistance (wont ever say waterproof) is spectacular. For $900, hard to beat. Sounds like you dont own an A2 so likely zero experience on it but sure, do keep buying IM & LK. Some of us will buy whatever works for us as we know, nothing is perfect. Not the humans that designs it, not those that built it & certainly not those that rides it
