🌜🦇 My August Physical TBR is: Illuminae by - Amie Kaufman The Thursday Murder Club (re-read) - Richards Osman My Dark Vanessa - Kate Elizabeth Russell The One - John Marrs How to Sell a Haunted House - Grady Hendrix Murder in the Family - Cara Hunter Catherine House - Elisabeth Thomas The Woman Who Lied - Claire Douglas
@@ReadingNymph thank you 😊I have started Illuminae and am over 300 pages done, not a huge sci-fi girlie but it's not bad. I'm unsure if I will enjoy My Dark Vanessa, but it intrigues me so we will see.
I vote for Hera. I love that idea of the color generator picking the color of the cover! How fun! The Darkness Within Us is on my list! I haven't gotten to it bc I know it is YA, but I liked Shadow Between Us. I need to read Interview with a Vampire, every time you talk about it I am reminded that I need to get to it. I'm interested to hear what you think of the Sager. I've only read one of his, but I'm not sure if I want to continue. Hope you are enjoying your reads!
I just hauled the Shadows Between Us and the Darkness Within Us as an extra early birthday present. I have loved Tricia Levenseller's writing, so I am really excited to read them around my birthday in September. My vote is for The Latinist, as it sounds more intriguing to me. I hope your reads go well.
I'm so excited for my August TBR. I'm participating in two readathons: Pickpongathon and TBR Quest. It's gonna be so much fun! I'm gonna vote for The Latinist as i've discovered that those are the types of retellings that i like. I don't like them where they just tell the same story but from a different perspective. The ones that i like are the ones that take the general plot structure, but tell a new story with it, like in The Latinist
As much as I love how Hera looks (it’s a beautiful book) I think as we’re moving more towards fall and that dark academia could really hit so the Latinist is my vote. My plans are to finish the first law trilogy and my new India Holton book🦇🦇🦇
My first thought was The Latinist but I think of dark academia as an autumnal read, and I'm not quite ready to switch out of summer reading mode yet. So, I'm voting for Hera. I'm currently about two thirds of the way through Midsummer Mysteries.
🌑I vote to hera just because it’s still summer and autumnal dark academia is not it. Aside from amina el sirafi I’m planning to read (hopefully): - magnolia parks : the long way home - beach read - yours truly - just for the summer - five survive - bad blood (Still pretty much in summery beachy mood 🫣
I love Carmilla, what a beautiful edition! For mythology-book I vote for Hera because the other one feels more autumnal 🍁
