    I've switched my bloodied commando from unyielding to overeaters with limit breaking for the raid, its so much tankier and still critting every 2nd shot. I started out with luck on each armor piece but now I have more limit breaking pieces so I'm gonna shift over to agility for more ap to play with. I love how there is much more flexibility now to achieve the same goals!

    Nuka darks are also worth to mention. You get 18 luck with party boy, happy-go-lucky and cola nut. I have one set of limitbreaking for easy content to not waste resources, the other sets rely on nuka darks. This way i can run agility and endurance on my second star.

      Awesome! I have the exact two same sets! It's super convenient too because I can just pop a nuka dark before a boss battle to help get the luck boost I need. Good shout out!

    You can also blow a legendary + luck card when you are already 15 luck to start at 20 luck base + herd mentality. If you want to have some flexibility for 2* on armor.

    I tried maxed-out Critical Savvy, +2 Luck on 4/5 armor pieces and 2/5 Limit-Breakers. I have 15 Luck + 8 from armor + 3 from HM = 26 Luck...which according to that reddit post, should be sufficient to crit every other shot.
    My results were like your testing though, roughly every third shot (although it was hard to tell firing my GP exactly how many shots went off between crits).
    I won't shuffle anything around though, it's good enough. Thank you for demonstrating and explaining each step of the way. Haven't seen a complete video like this yet.

      Through my testing I noticed it was extremely difficult to notice how often I was getting critical shots with my Gatling Plasma. The fire rate is rather fast and I often wonder if the server is able to keep up with the fire rate and critical shot bar. It is possible that some damage numbers may get lost. I noticed in my video when I was shooting the Mirelurk Queen at 14 luck, I was still getting a crit every other shot but the very first time I tested it, it showed a critical hit but the critical bar wasn't full yet. So there can be some strange things going on every now and then.

    You can bring the required luck down even further with the Lucky 3* effect on your weapon for bonus crit charge. Unless the formula changed without me noticing, Lucky should still be roughly equivalent to 10 points of luck!

    Blight soup works on carnivore builds if you suppress the effect by taking a carnivore serum. Suppresses for an hour. My question is does thistle tea stack with blight soup? I'll test it when I get home

    Wait a minute. 8:20 Wait a darn minute! Are you saying with a single limit breaking mod, almost all bloody builds (usually running at 30 luck) will crit every other shot?!? With just one mod?!

      You can save the 4* slot on your armor if you use the Lucky 3* effect on your weapon, you might even be able to get away with less than 30 luck.

    You didn't mention food buffs for carnivores. Iguana soup = 8 luck, Appalachilli = 5 luck, Nuka Twist with Cola Nut card could give you 2 luck, also Day Tripper chem = 3 luck, if you just need a little.

      Venison with berries 8 luck. Awesome possom bacon is 5. Both easily farmed

      Nuka dark gives 18 luck if you have cola nut, party boy/girl and happy go lucky. It's quite the perk cards investment but it could be worth it if it means having more agi or endurance to play with

    If we can crit every other shot what's the point of Four Leaf Clover? At least for full auto builds? Your acc will be at 95% in 2s anyway and half your shots will be guaranteed hits.

      Good question! If you are going with mainly automatic weapons with a high fire rate, it may not be necessary but if you want to try using other weapons like the Gatling gun or plasma caster, it’s definitely a great perk to have. The thing about accuracy in this game is that even if the bats accuracy has a high percentage, it’s not guaranteed (I’m looking at you plasma caster!)

    How much does Lucky three star reduce the luck requirements

      The lucky three star applies to only the weapon you apply it to so if you are maining a certain weapon all the time, that would be fine. So if you are rocking a full armor of luck (+10) and you have your base luck at 15, you would have 25 luck. If you use the three star on the weapon, that would bring it to 28* (*only when using that weapon). If you have herd mentality kicking in, that would give you annother 3 luck so you could then bring it to 31. So at that point you can either use the buffs mentioned in the video to get to 33 without Limit Breaking or you could use one Limit Breaking and get a crit every other shot.

      @@GamingInJapan76 Lucky, not Luck. Luck boosts LCK by 3, Lucky boosts critical charge by 15 (~15% of the bar)
      Based on the formula I know for critical charge (which is admittedly from ~5 years ago), the Lucky effect is roughly equivalent to 10 points of LCK, but does not effect any LCK-based effects besides critical charge rate.

    For full set of limit breaker armor, how many luck points are required with a weapon having the 3rd star 'lucky' (+15 critical charge)?

      If you have +2 luck on all your armor pieces, you just need 4 base luck (if you are not running herd mentality). If you are running herd mentality and have +2 luck on all armor pieces, you would need only 3 base luck because you would need to have critical savvy at rank 3 under Luck. If you are not running any luck on all your armor and no herd mentality, you would need a base luck of 12 . If you are not running luck on all your armor and have herd mentality, you would only need a base luck of 9.

    Is union or vulcan better?

      They both have their benefits. Union with the extra carry weight and extra poison resistance makes it a great go to use in any scenario. The Vulcan is amazing if you are a vats user and at the moment, you can poison enemies with every hit similar to the strangler heart PA if you have the ultracite bracer mod on. It’s also nice to save on fusion cores. I’m a big vats user so Vulcan has been my go to as of recent!

    Im confused, what does bloodied and crit shots have to do with one another? It's nothing alike

      When a character is bloodied, it generally means they are wearing unyielding armor. When a character is wearing unyielding armor, the more bloodied or low health they are, the higher their special stats increase (including luck) which affects how often they can get a critical shot.

      Unfortunately, server lag can pose an issue to several builds but it's nice when it works!
