Solid video. I would add to always join a team when you log in, try every event but let the more experienced players start them, visit other player's camps frequently to check out what they have for sale, don't worry about dying as we all do it a lot when we start, and just have fun. Like you said it's a great community and most of us look to help new players. Thanks for the video and take care.
If you're laden down with scrap, weapons and armour after events look for other players survival tents so you can scrap your junk and any unwanted weapons or armour. They're far lighter as crafting materials than before you broke them down and you may lose enough weight to fast travel out of there. Also don't do "Scorched Earth" unless you have a hazmat suit or a full set of power armour, the rads will destroy you otherwise
@@71simonforresterThank you for watching and yeah some good points using other peoples survival tents, the only thing I will say it can be abit risky that way as there many events where people have not put up a tent but only if you don't have Fallout 1st this might be an issue, and I agree scorched earth may of not been the best for the video as an example 😅 ( new players this try stay away from if you don't have was has been mentioned above) . Thank you for watching though and leaving some good information! To help the community :)
So even if your over weight just visit an expedition and you can get back to the whitespring refuge fast travel for free and all the benches and vendors are right there they can't take it out because it would softlock the game in expeditions 5:53
@@SeanRivers-uc3lr I know people where Abit split on that so I do get that I took a 6 month break alot has changed, thank you for commenting though and watching the video 🙂
I'd be interested to know what you don't like about it. Is it just confusing? I had a hard time with it at first, but now, I understand it better, and I am enjoying it a lot more. If you have any specific questions about legendary and mods, I'd be happy to discuss the system with you.
@@HannahThomas01 I understand it, just not a fan how they broke it down into the modules that you either have to learn from a very low chance of scrapping a legendary or through hard to get plans. Id rather try a random reroll to be honest. Nonetheless I get used to the system and carry on.
@@SeanRivers-uc3lr I was frustrated with the low learn rate also, but doing the raids, even just 'farming' the first robot, will get you SO MANY mods and scriptable weapons and armor that you'll have way more mod boxes than you ever want or need, really fast! That's definitely the way to get mods learned these days!

Great Tips 👍
Man this game would be 10000 times better if the scrap box was free
Agreed 😅
agreed
Events are brilliant for free ammo. Just use the weapon you want ammo for and loot the enemy

Tip #6: No one wants to join your level 100 Raid team.
😂
Level 103 had to reset 😅
came back after like a 6 month hiatus.... hate the new legendary system

@@SeanRivers-uc3lr I agree. It made the machine for scripping useless imo, as I end up scrapping the weapons and armor for the effects
What helmet is that in the beginning?
