@@gomicgamer1245 Same error was coming on my pc but remove your pc name from permission then enter again it work.

Worked for me first try thanks a lot bro I'm reorganizing my partitions and for some reason I had an empty "Program Files" folder and couldn't get rid of it

I read a few different forums (in a few different languages) and they told me to change the object name to "administrator" or "everyone" or "authenticated users", but you saved me by telling me to use my computer's user name. Thank you so much!

Mines work the first time.
It all worked until I tried to delete and it told me I need permission from the very account I was using to delete the files. The miracles of informatics.
Salute this man, it's 2020 and he's still using 256GB harddrives...
Lol thats a 256GB NVME SSD....I use 2TB external drive to keep files on which is not on the PC for obvious security reasons😊

Didn't work for me, when i give myself admin it opens "windows security" and says "Access to the file is denied"
Actually I just realized that you could flash Ubuntu into a flash and run it then delete the files through it try feature, it wouldn't care
now its saying I need permission from MYSELF I'm lost
Try restarting and login to the admin account...then redo the steps...goodluck

I came to the point when we change the ownership and I changed the ownership to me and when I PRESSED APPLY a notification popped up saying that this is u cannot change the owner ship of these files. So what should I do

I am still getting problem in deleting file as it still shows you need permission from user to delete this file.
You might need to reinstall os or try running a system files repair tool
for me it says you require perms from My Gamer54 ( my window's name)

Ok I know what this is, it’s Xbox hidden files. They don’t want you to touch it so they hide it. I enabled permission and found it.

Just click on try again or continue, if it doesn't work follow this process or login with your main account then do this...as the admin
