there is some thing that i dont like about it. the game doesn't even contain the orignial scp containment breach atmosphere, as it looks like it is just raytracing and new texturs.
Maybe it doesnt need to have the originals atmosphere, personally, it feels more like a modern interpretation of the game and the SCP universe in general, and that isnt bad.
it almost looks like an asset flip, a lot of textures and models just feel out of place. the glass especially, in the original game, you could see through the glass clearly and see another d class being escorted to another fate, it adds to the hopelessness feel at the start of the game and it's completely absent from this version because the glass is fogged up. the lighting is decent, good even but the textures just feel rough
Things I would change: smaller cell, smoother walls at least in the cell, better guard models and not ones from scp sl with helmets, much less orange on the walls(it's more of the entrance zone color(unless you'll change the whole design of the walls) I'd like to see where the project is going but for now it looks too much like some standard unity assets for me. Also guards should carry p90 with the scope for nostalgia's sake If you're gonna change the whole game at least keep the p90 with a scope Edit: also remove this fucking lights from doors, it looks ugly and this is not fucking star trek or shit
I would more focusing on improving the lighting, aswell dont make every room to have red light, make it light dark blue. Also avoid neons, neon lights are kinda bad and it looks more like lazy lighting anything, try fit the game like its some facility made in late 80s, aswell i would try make the rooms be more logical than in SCP CB, aswell use classic alarm lights that spins, would look better. Other than that, i love the dirty textures, focus on making the place like its been used, and its bit dirty.
I don't know why, but the graphics look kind of fake. It seems to have cool effects, the quality of textures and models is excellent, but all this somehow does not fit in
Why is this game made by 5 yrs old dev who jumped straight from scratch to ue and hes using everything from asset store and game mechanics orand optimalisation are broken..... one of tge worst scp games ever made
