Though there are three things to note, don't just cheap out and make it in roblox XD, make sure to get a good dev team, and don't scrap the damn game in the middle of development XD (like zonor did). And I am very invested in the project don’t plan on cancelling it at all. I plan on expanding the games content too so more SCPs, rooms, ect. And active development for the game is being taken place
This is actually sick, if I you, I would expand upon this idea, and make it more different from the original kind of how the other unity version did. I think this could be successful, and very cool. Also, it would make the game more scary if you dimmed a lot of the lights and redo all of sounds(other than the ambience).
Not the biggest fan of the Orange art style, but other than that every thing else looks amazing. I love how the inside of 173 chamber looks. Keep up the good work
I don't know if you're planning any kind of paid support for this thing for people to back the game's development, but I think you'd understand if I was somewhat wary if you chose to do so. I was one of the top-tier supporters of SCP: Unity for a while.
I always sort of wished the original had a bit of a graphics update, but at the same time I feel like a overhaul this big sort of ruins the charm the original had- same goes for many games indie games. Not to downplay the efforts of the developer here, they have done a phenomenal job! It’s just not what I was personally hoping for. I see the same issue with many other SCP CB remakes like the Unity edition, which I never was a huge fan off. Hats off to the developer though! I wish nothing much success for them
Looks like what they did with Halo 1's remaster years ago. Made everything shiny and different for the sake of being different, even if it doesn't fit the style or intentions of the game. Brightly lit corridors and rooms just to show off ray-tracing is pointless when the game you are doing it to is supposed to be a horror game...
