Max Simpson is a diesel tractor pulling legend engine builder. If you don't know how a single stage turbo works, or a turbine for that matter, this won"t mean anything to you. The 4 chargers, along with water injection and massive amounts of diesel fuel take a 120hp tractor to a 2500 hp or more tractor. Not a simple concept.

So there using the smaller turbo to drive the next bigger turbo to drive the next bigger bigger turbo until it gets to the humongous turbo which by that time is just ramming gob loads of air back into the intake?? Is this what this means? Interesting.

What i never understood about puking all that fuel out the exhaust is why not reburn it to make more horsepower, instead of blowing it out the exhaust.sooner or later we will figure out how to do this, less fuel more power, that is the consept of new diesel engines in the highway,in the fields and such.
