I worked at Ford Product Development in the UK. What we did to fix rattling panels was to use star shakeproof washers (with serrations on the outside). Between the panel and mount was optimum, but they still did the trick with the washer between the bolt head and panel. They are not going to prevent a large panel from vibrating, but you could stiffen the panel with bracing to kill vibration. Looking forward to seeing the buggy rip.
Explain to me why ford is soooooo shit and all ur build have recalls and brake downs Bluetooth phones in the cars have been there for years and yeah you guys know how to fix them but you make the dealer get involved instead of you guys fixing it still to this day the Bluetooth technology is useless ford is not what it use to be and who ever invented the territory shout be taken to jail as a lot of lives have been taken from ball joint and bush failure on the high ways at sleeps of 110kms all of them should be taken off the road that are a trap..!!! Ford is 💩💩💩💩💩💩 Btw my partner works in ford too and I here all the secrets everyday and the excuses you guys make so don’t even go there and lie
A cheap but effective way to stop subtle vibrations in panels I found that rubber metal roof washers from the roofing screws on both sides of the panel also works well. I haven't lost any hardware either since I started doing this.
@@VasilyBuilds hey new member here. Just wondering if you've posted pics or any other videos on how you did that cvt jackshaft over to the chain/driveshaft. Def interested in seeing that. Thnaks
Im always impressed by your work. You've probably thought of this before, but the floors of pickup truck beds make super cheap and robust floors for buggy/kart projects. Keep having fun pumping out the 🪙 👈😎👈
Man this is awesome, glad you do have sponsors in your videos now, you deserve it. Also i like the small size because its more on the same scale as my own buggy. Although not power wise (125cc pitbike engine😂)
You can't call this a $500 Chinese buggy anymore after you've pretty much replaced almost the entire thing already..... This should be called "The Buggy of Theseus" now, that would be sick. 😂 Awesome build, I can't wait to see what it can do now that it's basically a custom built long travel buggy.... 😁👍
You can put a few small squares of Dynamat type material (or generic Dynamat, that brand is expensive) on metal panels to deaden them from sound vibrations.. It's made for car stereo installations and I used it on that, but I use it on my aluminum skid plates on motorcycles, my PC case, my sim racing rig, a noisy dehumidifier, noisy metal cabinet doors, etc..lots of times you can hide it on the backside of panels. It's heavy but you don't need a lot, no need to cover the entire panel like the directions will say. A few small pieces per panel will do a LOT, it's amazing stuff. I was thinking about making this comment before you were talking about it 26:00 in vid! Try it and see how it goes. 🤘
This thing is pretty cool. You just used the old buggy as a jig. Awesome work. Love the odd projects man. Keep them coming. The busa swapped electric car is one of my favorites.
That buggy is sick.nice job.gonna build another myself soon.might be another 2wd though.my last buggy I used a early polaris tranny with hi lo rev behind a arctic cat 580 sled motor.2 stroke.was fast.too fast for stock chinese brakes..lol
When working & filming at the same time, Things like the soundbar get installed backwards. There is a lot that goes into videos that most dont see. I'm sure it will get swapped around when adding power to them.
Bro ,incredible amount of work ,but it’s worth it wen you see how she coming on ,I think your skills and experience is professional now,I would love to see you completely build your dream buggy from start to finish,I understand the money involved is mega tho ,but I can honestly say ,you would have no problem gaining build for people, you have earned that respect, bro I’m 52 and and would love half your skills in fab ,welding, mechanics ,and your tools are almost everything you need for a shop, you have a fantastic future brother in custom building, bikes, quads , cars ,snow mobiles ,you gona do great m8 ,I feel im watching the beginning of something really cool for and future family ,your going to have your own custom shop we’re the waiting list will be a year ,well done bro your well on your way to a very successful life ,I love it 😎
Yeah, it's kinda of a tricky situation cause it is a full custom build but you built it by replacing each of the Chinese pieces with better materials/geometry one part at a time. So now it's like the the chinese buggys american twin; corn fed and yoked but still only 5'2" and a bit awkward. This project says scope creep in the sense that you had something crap and wanted to make it a little less crap but then one change at a time you ended up replicating a chinese buggy but just not shitty build quality. It's way sick and I'd love to have it but I'd wager next time it would be better to just start from scratch now that you have so much experience with this kind of build.
to stop the aluminum panels from rattling you could also use old inner tubes as a damper its cheap and not that hard to get ahold of i use it on my skid plats for my dirt bikes
Hey Vasily. You probably have it on just for mockup. But that sound bar is backwards. The controls are facing away from you and what looks like an integrated light bar facing you.
Tabs are the way to go.....we build UMP modified dirt cars EVERYTHING is tabbed.....holes in the chassis are creating weak spots and most important always let water in....and you never want it rusting from the inside out
700 poolaris engine in a buggy. That’s what’s up. That thing is gona be a ripper. Theresa a few things you can do with that engine set up and have a really fast kart
Darn good looking work Vasily.>1 Problem though: You put the 'Soundbar' on with the light facing In,and speakers Out" Oops. ;) You know the tubes that the floor jacks for basement use? about 4" diameter? =Driveshaft tunnel.
Amazing work young man ! This machine is awesome 👏🏻 But! Am I the only one worried about the fuel tank almost sitting on the mufflers ? And sitting that high could be a problem in case of rollover… 🤔
New favorite channel. Cars and Camera and Red Beard fell off. You actually show how to do things and what parts were used. The other guys only get pre-made things and absolutely refuse to tell people what it is or where to get it.

Looking sick man 😍
Gm Rahway-Linden nj use to black silicone the know rattle spots with before putting panels on an family friend who worked at the plant had told me
Literal MVP
Large panels he could probably use sound detner
A cheap but effective way to stop subtle vibrations in panels I found that rubber metal roof washers from the roofing screws on both sides of the panel also works well. I haven't lost any hardware either since I started doing this.
Looking forward to a final follow up and trail ride on this one.
theese videos are awesome, just a dude having a good time in the garage
*driveway 😂

i really admire that you're happy cutting out old work to make it better/stronger. just going to make the finished thing that much better. great work
Man this is awesome, glad you do have sponsors in your videos now, you deserve it.

Yo, what tubing bender is that?! Killing these videos dude, keep it up.
You're basically using the old chassis as a jig for building a new one. Amazing fab skills!

its like 5% original steel at this point xD
This is freaking sick! & making me think i try & build something similar with the hammerhead gocart i have
Wow...what a difference! Looks way better and definitelylike how you opened the cockpit area more. Keep up the great content.
If you need any tires or wheels for your builds check with Jed's Wholesale Tires in Old Fort Tn. Great videos !

Nice work, Leave the dash bar yellow so everyone knows its a $500 Chinese buggy
Agree

What material is your tubing? Sorry if I missed where it was covered
I'm curious as well what size and material round stock he's using
great videos man, you always put top teir effort in them!
When working & filming at the same time, Things like the soundbar get installed backwards. There is a lot that goes into videos that most dont see. I'm sure it will get swapped around when adding power to them.
Man... I hope you have plenty of knee/shin clearance on that battery box! OWWWWW! Cool project, again!
Bro, that thing's going to look sick when you get done with it buddy I like it a lot I can't wait to see you rip it!!
that is one bad ass buggy, great stuff thanks.
It's absolutely beautiful hoss! Lets get some footy of it our crawlin around!
Need a panel mounted out front with VB laser,or plasma cut in it for Vasily Built... Actually put VB on all of the builds...
When you're chamfering the bolts on the aluminum panel, throw a piece of shop towel between the bit and material, no chatter
love your project ,all the way from Kenya.
Awesome job man.. really like the linger content and as always love to see the steps you make in your builds.. keep it up

Love the heart you put into all your builds is inspiring.
as always, love your dedication and commitment, wanna see the final buggy very soon !!
I am working in something similar right now at home
I look forward to watching your videos keep up the awesome builds

That's no longer a Chinese buggy it's a full blown American made mean machine now. Turned out sick as hell!
to stop the aluminum panels from rattling you could also use old inner tubes as a damper its cheap and not that hard to get ahold of
i use it on my skid plats for my dirt bikes
Phenomenal build!!
You really took the Chinese buggy to a new evolution can't wait to see you do a day of testing 😮🎉
Hey Vasily. You probably have it on just for mockup. But that sound bar is backwards. The controls are facing away from you and what looks like an integrated light bar facing you.
Don't you need a front "firewall"?
I guess it's gonna be muddy in the cockpit.
Yeah I'll be adding it next vid
Tabs are the way to go.....we build UMP modified dirt cars EVERYTHING is tabbed.....holes in the chassis are creating weak spots and most important always let water in....and you never want it rusting from the inside out
Amazing man. Love the videos and the builds are sick. I hope you can keep making these I friggin love it
Rivet nuts are awesome, but to be sure they don't fail , you should tack them in place and then you will have no problems down the road
This is the "Chinese Buggy of Theseus"
Invest in a circular saw and one of the metal cutting blades for it. You will love it for cutting. They are a game changes. No more cut off discs.
I have one, this stuff is too tin for it. Use it to cut 1/4 aluminum and steel
How much did just materials cost for all the add ons?
Around 500
5% Chinese buggy, 95% custom, 100% Awesome Good Job.
700 poolaris engine in a buggy. That’s what’s up. That thing is gona be a ripper. Theresa a few things you can do with that engine set up and have a really fast kart
You need to turn the speaker around Facing you
You can paint it with something like Orange color
Orange & grey go good together. 😉
Grey looks awesome.
Quality vid & build! Keep them coming 💪
most under rated youtube channel
DownStar dressup hardware would look dope on those aluminum panels.
good work. great progress! but i guess, the fuel tank will boil.
I just got a 1998 joyner sand viper 750 wheelie monster needs new front steering has zero radius
I seen 1 similar to yours at Fred Meyers in Brookings, Oregon day before yesterday.
Small but mighty.
Call it tubing!! Love your work
that thing will be 100% worth it that thing is sick
There’s almost no Chinese buggy left. 🤣
Brilliant work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Rivnuts are great
Love those triangular panels, bet they took the most of the time of your 3 weeks to get right.
AG1 sound like a 90tis newtown boy band... ag1 yooou got i com on jall you know the words... :P
Awesome bro! 🫡
Darn good looking work Vasily.>1 Problem though: You put the 'Soundbar' on with the light facing In,and speakers Out" Oops. ;) You know the tubes that the floor jacks for basement use? about 4" diameter? =Driveshaft tunnel.
Dude that thing looks sick af
Amazing work young man ! This machine is awesome 👏🏻
But! Am I the only one worried about the fuel tank almost sitting on the mufflers ? And sitting that high could be a problem in case of rollover… 🤔
Foam between the panels and rubber will take the vibration out
Hi! Do you know how I can find those front shocks? What's their reference
The gray is cool
This thing mad clean
You should add tree kickers on the side
Hell ya my dude
Did the 2 front diff work as you planned? Do you have 4wd and engage?
Rear mount on those a arms is no Bueno... need to have solid metal on both sides of the hiem joint
What is ur gearing on ur gsxr crosskart I’m building one and want to get one made
things gonna b bad ass yo
Can't wait to see this one rip
Absolutely AWESOME!!!!!
bro i would so want to build something like this
You should keep that one tube in front of the steering wheel yellow to remember the old buggy
fibreglass the cardboard be cheap panels at least, N the riv-nuts 😂
U need a front bumper
I dunno dude, you could throw a raptor 700r engine at this thing, maybe some more travel out back and youd be ROLLIN
Hell yeah dude!
Satisfaction 😌

Nice music good work
yeah that looked like similar work to doing like half a custom frame lol
Get a electric start kit for the polaris or add reverse.its never ending lol
😮 that’s awesome
You pooped out your buggy with AG1 😂😂😂
I feel like the entire buggy is tack welded
i love your videos!!
Bead roller....strengthen and silence your panels...cool ride though...
Hey man do a sxs build with custom motor Gsxr 1000 Hayabusa motor something like that.
Velocity build that thing will sweep
