Restoration Rusty Skinning Knife

- Hello folks! Today I want to show a new restoration project. I found this rusty knife at the flea market. I bought it because I like the shape of knife, and it's very usefully, and you can use it at camping, outdoor and so on. This knife is good for skinning and slicing.
Process restoration:
I used rust remover liquid then I washed the knife and impregnated via oil. Based on the fact that the material of the knife was made of tool steel, it was necessary to make a tempering of steel. Then I cleaned it and made a bevel knife. Then I tempered the steel and sharpened the knife.
Knife handle I made from ash tree and use thin pieces of plastic and brass rivets. From leather, I made a sheath for the knife. As usual, I made the test for you.

Rust removal. It is cheap, I use it constantly without changing it. It Works slowly, but also well.

You should have tapered and finished sanding the leading edges of the scales before gluing it up to the handle. It's much easier that way.
