Between you, Heather & Noreen, I have been inspired to make my own bread!! I am so excited and so is my husband - he even ordered me a pullman pan even though I haven't made any bread yet...and I appreciate your honesty and encouragement that if something isn't perfect, it's OK, keep trying! I hope you & your family have a blessed & happy new year! Thanks for all you have taught me! I really appreciate you!

In Australia they are called a Mackys bread pan they are fantastic, I have two, not cheap but worth every penny I proof with the lid off and put lid on when it's just below the lid, put lid on and cook, bread finishes rising to the top of the lid when you put it in the oven, great loaf Linda, I love making bread also 😀❤ also a tip to slicing your bread, put your loaf on its side, it will slice much nicer and easier x

Linda; The King Arthur flour website has recipes for both the 9" pullman pan and the more common 13" pullman pan. They also have tips and instructions to help you bake with these pans. If I use more then 4 cups of flour in my 13"pans I get a very dense, heavy crumb...Using unbleached A/P flour.

Hi, Linda-My experience with the Pullman pan is I have to let it cool for a few minutes to get the lid to release after baking. I found the best way to slice the bread is with an electric meat slicer. Bread looks delicious. Hope the tips help.

I have used an electric knife on my bread after it cools it was easier to stay steady and it was easier to cut even slices just an idea. I am the worst at slicing bread. Anyways love your channel you are an amazing lady. Sue

I learned a trick today with my pullman pan...if you forget that you are proofing bread and it over rises...just punch it back down into the pan all the way and go for a 3rd rise.

Great Video, I love your sincere enthusiasm. I think my favorite tip was when you measured the oil and then the honey so the honey wouldn't stick-seems I have read that tip before but you showed the practical application and now that tip is going to stick in my head (pun intended) Happy New Year Linda!

Great job Linda, a tip for slicing, put your loaf. Of bread on its side and slice that way loaf seems to be stronger slicing from side instead. Of the top 😀👍❤

I've been trying to perfect my bread too. I have ordered 2 Pullman pans. My recipe is from an Amish lady. It is a large recipe.
    3/4 cup oil.
    1/2 cup brown sugar.
    1 Tbs salt
    4 cup warm water
    3 cup whole wheat flour
    2 1/2 Tbs yeast
    3 cups white flour
Up to 3 cups till it pulls away
    2 1hr rises
    Usually makes 4 loaves.

Great video, despite the excitement... but it's always good when a person making something with their own two hands appreciates it.. I'll have to try the pullman pan, I don't have one currently.. looks like it makes a nice 'square' loaf for slicing.
