Whats really cool here is finally a good mix where you can really hear Andy hesse's bass. Almost wish this band cut a live album because the live mixes on the internet are lacking. But this one sounds pretty good. Now if only the OP could re upload and give us more then a measly 240P. But I'll take this. Better then nothing.
Great, Scofield! It grooves like hell. Thanks to your great musicians an especially for Avi Bortnick for his very creative approach. John Scofield is one of the few guitarplayers you can distinguish immediately by his playing and is sound.
Bro, I am a student of Scofield, meaning that I have transcribed at least 90% of all his albums. Uberjam Deux has been the biggest pain in my ass lol. Avis rhythm playing is like Bobby's in the Dead lmao. Just so neat and full of texture and change and motion. His part in Boogie Stupid is one of my favorite guitar parts of all time. Absolutely magical masterclass of rhythm playing for a master
La verdad, estoy dudando de si quiero ser Jimi Hendrix despues de 50 años. No dejo de asombrarme de este musico del siglo 21 que hizo la mayor parte de su carrera en el siglo 20 y hace la musica del siglo 22.
For me, there is something more that I need out of another guitar player on stage with John Scofield. John has soooooo much atmosphere in every note he plays, that just being a good rhythm player behind that is not enough. I am fine with John all by his lonsome.
It's an Ibanez Tele copy... " In the summer of 2014, there was John Scofield at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy, traversing postbop-inflected Afrobeat, funk and fusion using a Tele copy made by the Japanese brand Ibanez." from: jazztimes.com/articles/166440-the-cult-of-the-telecaster

Avi Borthnick is master Rhythm Guitar which almost become the lost art
I used to regularly see his funk band What It Is when I lived in Central Florida. ( a 14 y/o Derek Trucks too!)

you sure that's not "Can't Find My Way Home" by Blind Faith at the end?
JS is a big clapton fan he says.
Mr. Scofield sure knows how to pick his drummers - love Terence, Dennis and Billy - all tasteful with mad skills!
Wow, they must have a great room mic setup, I feel like I'm right there, wow.
The great artist John Scofield. Very beautiful suond
Super! Love the moments when the weird sounds come out.
mais quel bonheur!
John's phrasing on Jungle Fiction is just so sick, who plays like that???? 😊
Simply amazing!!!!!
Awesome Video- I really enjoyed watching!
Best wishes and keep up the great work, Max
I love the dial-up modem sounds
Uno de los mejores conciertos que he escuchado en estos tiempos. Excelente!
the guy, drinking in front of Scofield, has learned to play the bassdrum in one hour!

Come on.........
It's not a tele and it sounds fine.
That is most definitely a Telecaster or a non-Fender variant

I like Sco better with the Telecaster
Great band and music! It's a pity that the John's guitar is a little out of tune...
There’s a significant issue with guitar tuning here.. sco should have checked out octaves,,
great !!
