I was there James was drunk. Me and my wife and friends that went with us we was not impressed at all. Will never see Metallica again. That was the 2nd time that happened. 1st time Kurt was drunk and Lars was not in a very good mood. Metallica was told they can't perform in that arena again.
I don't think Metallica was told they couldn't play in that arena again, All the venue operators care about is how well the venue sells and Metallica sold out that entire second half of the 2018/2019 tour including this particular show. Grand Funk Railroad may be revered as if they were gods in Michigan but Metallica=$$$$$ and Van Andel Arena staff aren't willing to miss on that pay day,
