I always hated that I'd never get to see Jim Croçe because he died so early. I saw there were tickets to a Croce Plays Croce show with AJ Croce doing covers of his dad's songs. So I got one and was so glad that I did. It was an amazing show. He sounded so much like his father. He played the piano and guitar some and was an amazing player.
I know that I’m in the minority here but I find this extremely sad. AJ tried for years to get his own career off the ground and it never went anywhere. And now that he’s resorted to playing his father’s music, there’s more demand for him. It feels gimmicky to me. I understand why he’s doing it. But personally I don’t find his interpretations of Jim’s songs any more valid than a Joe Schmo at your local open mic. He’s competent at best. He should have stuck to doing his own music.

WOW AJ. Just like I remember your dad playing. One of my favorite Muscians of the 1970's. He is looking down upon you and smiling right now.
As usual singing great love your voice as long as you keep singing your keeping your dad around keep singing we love you.

Can't wait to sttend his concert at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA on his Dad's birthday, January 10, 2025.
Closest thing to Jim himself! I think his dad would be proud!
A great live performance of this cool old classic Carlos!
A lovely tribute by a solid musician in his own right. Thanks, AJ.
Wow impressive sounds great 👍
Sounds great! His father would be proud!
Your dad would be so pleased that you are carrying on his legacy...but it is sad he can't be there on stage with you.😊😊😢😢
Awesome...
A.J. Guess I will say it again......I love and adore you! Travel Safe, Travel Well. As Ever, Jan. Maybe your biggest fan. Not by weight either!!!!
Man he plays like his father
Far Out
If he was on stage Jim would be doing backup and letting his boy shine.

A.J. sounds a bit like his old man😊😊.
