    Hi, your videos are well produced, and convey a lot of information. Can you comment on the use of sheep's wool for insulation ?

      Thank you, glad you are enjoying our videos. Sheep’s wool is a wonderful product for insulating log homes as it is all natural, able to dry out if it gets wet, and can be purchased in rope form specifically for log home use. The negative however is that it is hard to drill and cut through.

    Is the dog bone system used on all corner notches or only if the there isn’t sufficient wood left (strength wise) after cutting some notches?

      We use the dog bone system only when there is minimal holding wood left in the notch.
