crys ed the name BRT is in the first place referring to the design of the bus. In all of the examples the buses use separate bus lanes for part of the routes.
I believe another criterion for BRT is that they only stop at stations and passengers must tap a pass or metro card purchased at the station- but never on the bus. This minimizes the time spent at stops.
I have commuted in these buses when I was in Amsterdam for 20 days. Smoothest rides of my life.
Fantastic video my friend. Have a great day. Greetings from Czechia. 😊 BIG LIKE
The roads are so neat and clean! Looks way better than here in America.
Not gonna lie, but VDL makes the coolest buses. I wish they were introduced in the U.S
I think solaris urbino 4 generation is better than vdl
I wish people realized that trolleybuses are better, especially when they have auxiliary batteries.
@@Koyo.07 Solaris is junk. Everything rattles and they break down all the time
@@LunaticOstrichEveryone has their opinions
@@Koyo.07 they look allright, but they're clearly build on a budget. To put it mildly
Nice to see that the dutch are taking electrification of their public transport system seriously 😉😊
If only here in the US that has transportation like the ones in Europe, Japan, Korea and China!
Not all are BRT bus some are bus lane and I've seen Trolleybus as Electric bus on bus lane and BRT System.
Very nice
In Groningen wordt tevens op lijn 2 (ook Q-link Groen) met dit materieel gereden
Ik vind zulke bussen schattig en knuffelbaar. :)
@Abel de Goederen Hahaha nee.
VDL Citea with overhead charging at terminus should be able to put in a good day’s work.
Mooie bussen! :)
In Osnabrück they Are also Usedom.
Prachtig materieel
What's the range on these?
150-200 kilometers
I think this country is Netherland
Yes it is
Karley Point
Bij EBS brandde er gister eentje af. Dat was nog eens een hoop uitstoot!
This is not qualified as BRT in my opinion, I don't see separate bus lane that is isolated from the rest of roads used by cars...
